Transferred vhs to DVD easily. The quality was what I expected.

This is an ok product. It works well but is not very use simple in its directions and steps for use.

The software that comes in the box didn't seem robust enough for me so I used VideoStudio to replace it with. With our without the included software I'm still limited as far as video quality goes. Old home VHS tapes just were not HD quality. With that said, it's nice to transfer these old family memories to a modern format and preserve them.

Cleaning out vcr's but some were memorable home movies. Totalled up how much to have it done, read reviews of software packages and decided to do it myself. Has great capabilities but I just transferred and am very happy with results. Can also do cassettes which I have on my to do list.

I used this item to archive old VHS tapes that I had stored up. It worked great fro writing directly to DVD. You can also use it to capture video from other devices such as camcoders.

I had difficulty loading the program but eventually I succeeded. Takes a while to figure out how to edit...crashed a couple of times but maybe it's my computer. Customer service was excellent and very helpful.

I'll have to try it first. it looks like a good product. I plan to try it out on my free day.

Everything was color coded and directions were self explanatory. I am impressed.

This is a great product! Allowed me to record my wedding video on to a DVD so I can watch it anytime and not worry about the old tape breaking. Recommend the Vidbox to anyone that doesn't want to lose their memories.

I've been working with the support team for weeks trying to get the program to work. They are saying it's Windows 8 but the box says it is Windows 8 compatible. Now I'm outside the window for returning it and getting frustrated. I can hear audio but can't see video - just doesn't make sense.

I like that you can capture still pictures while copying videos.

The directions included with the product were limited. I had to go online and get instructions in detail to install and use. The personal cloud is great, can access data and music from anywhere including my smart phone.

I'm ecstatic! I retired and had tapes from 30 yrs of coaching. It was going to cost me hundreds. Instead I did it myself. When I ran out of DVD's I saved it to the computer and transferred it later when I replenished my DVD's. No complaints

Using this to transfer my 25 year old VHS to flash drive

It worked fine, and saved me money on buying something else.

features need to be improved, very slow copying over a movie

Bought this VHS to DVD 8.0 Deluxe - Windows interface from Best Buy and took it back an hour later (at first they balked because it was software included) but bought the Ion Audio - Video 2 PC Digital Video Converter instead (and love it)
