I was going to purchase the "competing" product and chose this one instead, and I'm glad! It has all the options I was looking for, is easy to use, and has even been quickly updated for Windows 10!

I bought this to convert old VHS tapes into digital format. I was not interested in creating DVDs. The process to create a DVD is very simple but in order to just save the file as a digital file on your computer it is a little more involved (but not so complicated that you can't figure it out). I wish there was a one step process for converting to digital (vs. just DVD) thus the deduction of 1 star.

Bought this to copy some of my VHS videos to DVDs. It works great. Can't wait to transfer all my VHS tapes to DVDs.

This product has saved my memories from VHS tapes from 20+ YEARS. Trust me if you know how to work basic computer software....you can work this software.

This product makes it very easy to transfer your VHS cassettes to DVD or electronic media format.

This product was very easy to use. It copied all my videos to dvd. The only problem it has is with windows 10, it won't automatically play unless you have some sort of playback device like power pro dvd.

I brought this to transfer old family VHS tapes to DVD format. Instructions good, no problems setting up with laptop/VHS player. I did a "practice" transfer with a tape I didn't really want. Very glad I did- makes the "real" transferring smoother. Good buy for the money.

In the middle of converting tons of home VHS tapes to digital. Software took a while to download and install but after all is said and done, the software is really easy to use.

This product gets the job done! Simple to use and it does everything you need to do regardless of if it is a VCR or a camera. Software does not offer a lot of editing options but, all things considered, it was worth the money

I bought this item to digitize some 8mm videotape. It was very easy to set up and worked exactly as described. I used the basic setup which doesn't permit editing of the tape being digitized. It is important to note that the software permits one to edit the digital copy but, cannot comment on the utility of this option. Overall a solid performer.

I found this program to be very easy to use following the instructions, and the quality of the conversion (from VHS to digital) was excellent. Have not worked with some of the other options or more involved uses, as yet, but this is a very versatile program and am looking forward to doing so. I would recommend this product.

Dug out some old VHS and Cassette tapes and have easily moved them to digital format. I did have the need to contact customer support for a set up question and their support team was awesome
