Great and realitively easy to use program to convert and save those old VHS tapes to your computer or burned to a disc.

Now I can easily convert my old 8mm movies! It's easy with this product. Saves you from paying expensive fees to a pro!

It gets the job done just ok. If you start multitasking with your computer while recording something the software will lock up and you'll have to start over. If you leave the computer alone the job will be successful. There are sometimes some clicking sounds in the speakers while recording but it stops after about a minute and the noise is absent in the final recording. The software gives you the flexibility to manually set options or be fully automatic which is nice. The quality of recordings are fine. Recording analog video is never top notch but at least the digital recordings you make won't degrade. I rated this at 3 stars but I'd give it another half star.

Converts anything that can play through rca. Very convenient to convert dvds and vhs tapes to a hard drive. Wish it had a few more advanced audio control features in the program.

Item worked after a few "learning curve" tries. video recorded to computer good but a little "choppy" even using smoothing setting. otherwise good overall for the purpose.

The converter works as advertised. The options are a little limited but given the tech transfer it makes sense. I would love a few more options connection wise, though.

Already used it to copy VCR and VR tapes to DVD. Works like a charm.

But, I had to call Support twice to get it working. In order to index a record to CD I have to stop each song and start again to "index" the recording. It's a little hastle, but a good product for the money.

I purchased this item because I had VHS family films and needed to convert them before they ruined. It took a little time to figure it all out but eventually I did and and transfer these films to a DVD disk.

Bought this for my father for Christmas. We have tons of old VHS home movies that we want to back up and make available to the whole family. Set up in minutes, the dvds are as good as the vhs tapes, but the memories are being reserved. I would definitely recommend.

Took some time to load it, doesn't have a lot of user friendly features to let you know what to do next.

The setup is really is easy and quick. This is the more basic version program but it has plenty of editing options.

I purchased this product because I needed a device to connect between my camcorder and PC. I was somewhat disappointed in the video quality when converting my Camcorder movies to DVD. However, the product did as advertised. Since the software had less options than another product I already had on my PC, I used this product for the initial copy from the camcorder then used my other software for the editing and burning.

Product was accurately described and was easy to use.

This is the second VHS to DVD 8.0 Deluxe - Windows product I purchased. The first one had a USB cord that went bad within 4 months. I had to buy an entire new product, just to get a new USB since there are no replacement USB's available that fit the device! Why are you not using a universal size USB cord in this day and age! Not happy!!

it allows you to do what it was intended for without alot of unneeded extras.
