When they say high velocity they weren't kidding. Most of the time we have it at the lowest setting, but it is really nice knowing we can crank it up when needed. I read another user uses the fan outside when sitting on their deck. While I haven't tried this yet, i can see the appeal. The fan was easy to put together. Its not a quiet fan but given that when you buy this you are buying a fan that can push out a lot of wind the noise is on par with that. Adjustable height and angel are nice features too. The motor gets a little warm at times.

Happy camper with this unit. Feels solid. Easy to assemble. Moves a lot of air. Not too noisy as others have claimed. I mean who buys a high velocity fan and expects quiet operation?? I've owned others and this one is quiet in comparison. Not easily tipped over due to solid base materials used. A bit heavy, but again, that's what you want for a fan of this type for stability and safety. Works like a champ for what we need it for, which is moving a lot of air with one fan.

Wow never had one like this. Really sturdy and powerful. Only thing I would have liked is for the sound to be mire quiet. Even on low it is quite loud. I'm will get used to it. And the cord should have been longer But it is definitely factory type fan

I live next to a highway with extremely thin apartment walls so I NEED a loud fan. This fan is pretty much perfect when it comes to the white noise needed to cover the noise of the traffic at night and it was wonderful airflow to keep me and my husband cool while sleeping. I do have a fairly big complaint though and this will probably cause me to send the item back and try out a different item. There is this constant rattling noise. Almost like there is a piece of paper stuck and it keeps hitting the blades. Sometimes it will stop for a few seconds and then start back up again. It drives me nuts at night and I cannot get the deep sleep I'm needing because of it. I have tried tightening screws and have inspected the thing inside and out and cannot figure out why it is making that noise. An 80 dollar, brand new fan shouldn't be having issues like this.

The wife and I have been talking about getting something for the garage. And I had my eye on this for awhile. Went hard and bought it. Amazing. You don’t even have to go pass level one it blows great. If you get to level 3. It’s amazing but loud. Definitely works well and very he heavy duty built.

Good high velocity fan. Was easy to assemble out of the box. Sturdy. Performs as advertised.

I like that it blows strong, but the only downfall is the motor on the back tends to get really hot.

This thing moves air, but at the expense of serenity. It's well made with a heavy base. It has three speeds but we never go past the lowest. I'll recommend but for outside use in a large space.

The best purchase I’ve made at Best Buy! This fan is so powerful that many nights I don’t even need to use my AC. I also keep it on the lowest setting. Very durable. It’s a bit loud but it doesn’t bother me. I love it so much I bought the floor version.

When I first got the fan delivered it was clearly used but as always bestbuy made things right. Love How powerful this can is. So far I haven't had a need to use any of the speeds besides low. It's just that strong.

This fan has been the best fan I've ever bought. This is like an airline taking off with the amount of air it puts off.

The fan has strong airflow however, it's not easy to move it's location. It's fairly heavy which is fine but the pedestal is poor quality and is loosening more and more over a period of two months. No way to tighten base.

These fans are very loud. The motor surges also. I would return them if I hadn't waited too long to do so.

This fan is perfect for the bedroom. They come from out west and are definitely worth the wait...
