I am very dissatisfied with this Viking range and over. I’ve had it for two weeks and it needs service. When you set the oven temp, it will not alert you when when it reaches the temp. No tone, beep or anything. You can’t set a cooking time for an item. You need to monitor like the old ovens. My old Maytag did so much more and it was about $3000 less in cost than this Viking

I had a whirlpool for many years that worked great, I replaced with this viking. I naturally assumed that somethins that costs 2 or three times what your average range costs would have everything, It is a nice super heavy unit They had to send in a tech the first week because the oven was not running properly. This does not have a timer of any kind. It will not let you know when you have reached your desired cooking temperature. You have to hear it clicking on and off . That will let you know you are at the temp. you set. If you are cooking something for 30 minutes lets say, you need to be watching your clock. There is NO timer that beeps or buzzes when you are at your desired cooking time.

This range is absolutely phenomenal the burners burned extremely hot but can also be used for simmering the oven is consistent in its heat really enjoy cooking with this
