I know it's trite to say, but this really is one of the best shows on TV. The characters are fascinating and the storyline draws you in. The show captures the brutality of that period in history in an interesting and entertaining way.

This show is not only great because of the action involved but great because of the plot twists. Ragnar looking to expand his reach heads west. He encounters new enemies and forges new alliances. This show and season is a must watch!

This season was just as good as the first one. The graphic situations continue just as depicted in history. The actors are amazing and I often find my self screaming right along with them. Great continuation of the series.

Love Vikings! This blu-ray looks great, and is very easy to pick up where you left off, since it remembers your place even if you remove the disc. If you haven't seen Vikings, or if you need to catch up to season 3, get on it!

I have been watching this series since it began and it is a spectacular show! I had to have this for my collection! I have rewatched S1 already, rewatching this season now & watching the current season on TV. AWESOME SERIES!!

Interesting story based on actual historical characters. Getting a glimpse into what life might have been like for the people of that area and time caused me to do a little research into those times and sure enough, many of these characters appear to have actually existed. The History Channel has done a great job of bringing these times to television with spectacular locations and great photography. I am really looking forward to Season 3.

Excellent series, I am already a fan and purchased this particular set due to the extended scenes. If you have not seen this series and have considered making this purchase I would suggest that it is the best version!

One of the best shows on television. The second season is just as good as the first. Vikings features a great cast and offers a realistic view of the time and people. A show like this deserves to be watched on Blu-ray.

I was surprised with season 1 of this show, and had to watch season 2, it did not disappoint! Now that season 3 has just started I am hooked again! This show is a must buy for anyone who loves this era of the past.

This is a great DVD set at an even greater price! When I watched the first episode I was hooked right there. I have watched every episode since then faithfully and was excited to be able to purchase both seasons!

Great for men and women. There is all the action and adventure that men could want in this series, plus a bit of romance for the ladies. Best of all, the female characters are strong leaders. A great show.

History, fiction, war, pillaging, and vikings everywhere. If you're bothered by bloody battles, this is not for you. If you like history and a very interesting story based on Viking legend, you'll be hooked.

Picks up where the first season left off. While some dramatic license taken to present an engaging story line, the settings and historical accuracy are true to actual events. Production quality is top notch.

The Battles, the fighting, the culture of Vikings is so metal and people who are interested in the lifestyle of Viking should watch this show to get an idea of how life could have been for them.

Best series I've seen in years. Vikings is addictive and has become my new guilty pleasure. It's extremely well-acted and is based on real people and events.

We set aside every Thursday night to watch it on TV- some times we miss it, now that I own it I don't worry about missing an episode... Love having a Vikings marathon when our sats. out !!!!

This show has become one of the best on tv. Not only do you get to witness epic battles and great storylines, you get to learn what being a Viking truly meant. This show will not disappoint!

Excellent acting,accurate historical society of Vikings warriors, who conquered many parts of the world. Again, I love this show very much and I'll buy third season,when will be on sale.

Here is season 2. DELIGHTFUL! My ancestry is Norse so I have watched with great interest and look forward to every episode. A GREAT addition to my DVD collection.
