    I purchased this for my husband because we lived in Maine at the time and it gets very cold. With this he could start his truck from inside warming it up. We now winter in Florida but still use it but now for AC instead of heat. Win/win :)

    Without this product, someone can hotwire your vehicle, or make a copy of your key and take your vehicle, even if the alarm is armed. This relay makes it impossible to Start the vehicle when alarm is armed. The only way to start it is if the alarm is disarmed.

    Our car starts using our remote start system. This helps move power around the car to make sure the car has enough power to start all the electronics. We have problems with the actual remote start, but it is not attributed to that.

    if you purchase an automatic car starter make sure they go over your make and model so that you have everything you need when it comes time for the appointment. this relay was essential in order for it to work in my wife’s car. Pricewise it was affordable am not too much to bear and easy to install.

    I have no idea what this was used for but when I was ordering my remote start bestbuy website I needed to order one for my install. I dunno where it's located or anything but my car starts so im happy.
