Excellent customer service at the Geek Squad install bay. Remote start works great and is very convenient. Bought this for my sisters 2010 Altima. She loves it. Excellent for warming up or cooking off the car before putting the two babies in it.

Reasonably priced and does the job one would expect. You might get others for a similar price but this is a super deal considering Viper brand & Geek squad installation which is excellent.

I'm going to be simple about this. The technician that recommended the VIPER brand was a blessing. The remote start works great, no issues as of yet. It has been about a month already and no hiccups. The range for the remote start is also great. Everything works perfectly and it only took the technician about 2 hours for install. I did not even notice where the remote start was in the vehicle until I really looked for it. So, overall, great product, highly recommend!

I purchased this item as part of a Deal of the Day package and am pleased to say it is just what I was looking for. It was a gift and a great one at that. Installation went well by local Geek Squad and the only reason it's not 5 stars is because they only provide 1 remote. You can buy a replacememt remote and have it programmed but I think 2 should be included as most cars come with at least 2 keys when new. This is exactly all you need for a simple remote start system. No extra features or complications. Just press a button and your vehicle will start.

Scheduled the install time online, everything went very smooth with no surprise expensed(cables, casings, etc). Everything works good , have had no problems.

I love that I can push one button and my car starts up. Getting into a very warm car in the morning helps make my day better. It was installed by the Geek Squad and I was given instructions on how to use it. I am Impressed how easy it is to use. It shuts itself off after 20 minutes. I purchased the basic model of remote car starters and bum pleased with the results. My only complaint is that while waiting for my car to be completed, there is absolutely no place to sit and wait. Best Buy should ceeTe some kind of waiting area for people getting things installed.

This product is working out really well. I originally thought it would only be used in the winter but just as good in the summer. Start the car with the ac on and the car starts to cool down.

The product is worth each penny for the price I paid as it came along with installation. Works fine for now, it's just been a month.

We wanted a remote starter that was separate from the key as our key has embedded controls. Good: Easy to use, works most of the time, cheap and small. Bad: No feedback about if the car is on (one way). Sometimes has not worked due to interference. Overall, because of the price I would still recommend this item.

These Viper remote start systems are fantastic! You can start your vehicle and let it warm up so you never have to get into a cold car. My last vehicle was 16 years old, which was the age of the remote start that was installed at Best Buy in that vehicle. It never gave me any trouble, and I'm sure this one will be just a reliable.

I love this product. It is so handy to be able to start my car from inside and have it all warm before I get in. I would do five stars but it wont the remote wont lock the doors though it will unlock them. It was easy to program additional remotes that do have the lock feature but its worth the little extra cost to move up the the next model which includes two remotes that both lock and unlock the doors. This version only included one remote.

Not only was the price right (it was on sale with free professional installation) but it works great - not too complicated, one button on one key fob. The installer was extremely helpful and courteous and made sure everything worked just as it should before I drove away. Trust me, there is nothing like having your car already warmed up when you hop in it to start your cold winter day!

I love Best Buy and I have done quite a bit of business here over the past few years, but when I had remote start installed on my 2011 Infiniti I got to the stop light at the Lloyd and by brakes locked up. I brought the vehicle back later that night and was told by 2 workers there it was not related to the work they did. I work at Romain Cadillac as a service advisor, and I deal with situations like this on a daily basis. If a situation seems too coincidental it usually is. The technician who fixed my vehicle at Romain informed me that the brake switch was adjusted too far in keeping the brakes engaged. My brakes were fine before it came in, and we're lock up when I got it back. Like I said I work at Romain and I myself heavily depend on surveys to keep my job, but I had to get this off my chest because I think this situation came about because the work that was done installing my remote start at Best Buy. I gave good remarks because I have never had a problem with Best Buy in the past but this situation did put a bad taste in my mouth about future business.

All right product overall. Hate that it does not get good distance on starting when near a lot of other cars such as a parking lot of walmart or such. I do like that it is simple, but maybe a little too simple. Just one button. Have to guess on some of the features of holding down the button and double clicking...

Excellent remote start system! I didn't want to take out the factory keyless entry system, I just wanted an add on remote start system that gives good range.

Great product does exactly what it says. Just wish staff would have better educated me. Found out other models can also control the seat heaters but no-one discussed that with me. Would have liked to been able to consider that option. Also paid more than normal local shops would have charged because I bought it as a gift for someowne out of town so best buy network of stores made it easier for them to get it installed. Price of convenience I guess

I bought this device late fall 2015 for my wife's Honda Odyssey. Knowing winter was coming, I wanted to get ahead of the potential rush and backlog of folks wanting a car starter. I scheduled the install with the Best Buy automotive guys for 1.5 wks in the future. The guys did a great job. The install was nice and clean and the starter has worked great thus far. I've only used the starter once as I rarely drive her car. I occasionally inquire with my wife on how the starter is working and thus far, its been fantastic. A good purchase.

I like how east it is to use and the distance I can get but just wish it came with two remotes.

I was looking for a remote start for our Honda CRV. I compared the dealer prices at $700 and decided to try Best Buy. Bought the Viper for $249.00, including installation. What a deal! Works great and from a long distance. We have a 96lb labrodoodle that likes to go for rides. So, when we go to the store or even a restaurant we can take him. You can choose the time you want it to run and installation was quick. Has a lot of safety features, like if you open the drivers door that engine quits. Great product and service.

highly recommend especially for the winter. But comes in handy for other times too. Works real good and can reach far like it says! Love it
