Great remote start for any car keeps car and me warm in WI ter

Good remote start but one detail is that once the car is turned on if any door opens it shuts off. For FL our plan was to cool down the car while parked and loading the kids, groceries, etc which it doesn’t work too well for our purpose.

I purchased this viper as a one day special for half the regular price. First I called the 800 number and patiently waited 20 minutes to find out if this model was compatible with my vehicle. I was told that this item was compatible with my vehicle and the most I would have to pay was an additional $5.00 installation charge. I made an appointment with qeeksquad to have the item installed in my vehicle. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that there would be an additional charge of $180.00 to have the item installed. I was furious. I immediately requested a refund and had the item installed at a competitor for a price that was much less than Best Buy's.

I purchased this item for my wife at Christmas. She has always complained about coming out to a cold car from work. Also, I normally warm her car up in the morning before she leaves. This product works just great. Very easy to operate. My thanks also to the Bel air, MD installation team for their good work in installing it.

Installation was easy and quick. Works as planned.

My daughter needed an auto start and that was her gift this last Christmas. I searched locally (Soldotna) and could not find one in our price range, so ended up looking to Best Buy. Not only did I find one there, but at a good price. She just had it installed by the Geek Squad yesterday and absolutely loves it!! Thanks

This was a Christmas present for my wife. Purchased 2 weeks before Christmas and set up appointment for install at the same time. Smooth transaction and time completed was on point. One month later and so far so good. Wife is happy!! And when the wife is happy everyone is happy! It was installed on a 2005 Xfinity FX35

I would definitely recommend this remote starter. It works great, but don't be fooled by that "...up to 2000 feet..." nonsense. Maybe 200 feet. Non even joking. And you can't have any obstruction. You literally have to go to the window. But i'm good with that. My driveway goes right out by my front door. So, yes, I like the product and would buy one for my other car. But if you need longer range you will have to upgrade. OR... They say you could subscribe to the app and use your smartphone to start it from anywhere. That's like 70 buck a year I think.

I bought this Remote Starter at the height of Christmas as a gift. The price and installation was spectacular. The person who I purchased this for really enjoyed it and it could not have come at a better time because of the weather.

The installer was very helpful and efficient on telling me all about the starter before and after the install. The price was very reasonable and also the day of the install was on my wife's birthaday, which was also good for me, cause it was for her car. This was second car I had a starter put in, from bestbuy.

i did alot of research on this remote start, everything sounds awesome. the only problem for me was that i have a 2013 vw jetta tdi. this car is push button to start so the installer said they could not install remote start on my car!

I have a Viper remote starter in my Dodge Charger, so I knew that it was a great product. It beats getting into a cold vehicle in the winter or a hot one in the summer. The Viper is now in my GMC truck. From now on every vehicle I own will have a Viper remote starter.

Great remote start for the price! Up to 1/2 mile range provides exceptional convenience. Car runs for up to 25 minutes (most remote starts only go 10 minutes) providing plenty of time to warm up the car in cold, winter temps.

The remote starter is for the most part runs well. However, on several, not all occasions, the lights flash without the car starting. This does not happen all the time but on the most severe cold days/nights it has happened.

The remote start works well and I have activated it from my office to the middle of the parking lot (at 19 degrees cold! YAY!). I've only had it a few weeks on my 2003 Subaru Outback but it has worked perfectly every time so far. Be sure to have it professionally installed though.

The installation was easy and quicker than the time quoted. The technician explained everything in great detail so we knew how to use it. With the last few mornings being below freezing and having the car parked outside it has been worth it to purchase this product!

Took only a couple hrs to install. If you're looking for a basic car starter to warm it up before heading out, then this should be your product. If you're looking for more options that you can control with your phone then get the next model up.
