Works great on my son's truck. When weather is horrible he can start the car from inside the school and it's warm when he gets in the car. Good range on remote.

product OK, but the installation process was disappointing. arrived 10 minutes early, they didn't start working on my installation until an hour later, then it took another 3 hours after that to get the job done. installer seemed nice, but was working on other jobs while working on my installation. could have been out of there in an hour or so if the installer was focused. Waiting room was a small hallway that was not heated. outside temperature was zero, hallway was maybe 20 degrees thanks to the service window being open and the shop heat coming through the window. very disappointing process

I bought this when it was Best Buy Deal of The Day, which included geek squad install and the bypass interface. Josh, the install tech did a fantastic job!! Highly recommend this unit, it's basic and reliable.

I love my viper. The service man asked if i needed help he showed me the viper told me about it and sold me. He then set me up for appt to install, got me in 4 days early . He did an outstanding job all the way around.

My wife loves it it does everything she wants. She especialy likes that she can leave the car running and locked with the dogs in it with the heat or AC running.

Instalation was without any issues, Didn't take to long and the remote seems to at this time work as it should. Can't find any negatives about it at this time.

The installers were very helpful and I brought 1 for my car and 1 for my wife's car. My grandson brought 1 and I am thinking about purchasing 1 to replace the one in my truck. Wish it came with 2 remotes though

Excellent for an older person like myself. Starting the car from inside the house gives the car an opportunity to get warm or cool as needed. Great device!

Product is great, but could be better. I'm happy with being able to start my car from inside my home and let it warm up during the cold weather; but the device is only made of plastic. I'm afraid to drop it that it might break. You also need to be patient because you don't know whether to press the start button and let go immediately or hold it down for three seconds. It seems different each time. I am happy, however. It's better than running outside, starting the car, and running back inside to let it warm up. I don't have to do that anymore. This was a great investment!

Installation was excellent. Got an appointment quickly and everything stayed on schedule. The remote is ok at best. I often have to press the button a second time to start it. The range is ok with a clear path, but not so great from within a store. Being able to unlock the doors is nice, but not having the ability to pop the trunk while the auto-start is active is very annoying. (Not the product's fault, but I would have paid more to have that feature).

The remote start works, only have had a couple of times with no starting. It is wonderful to go out and get in a warm car on a cold winter morning.

It's been an extremely cold winter and this has saved me from freezing! The range is sufficient but the building penetration is zero, which was to be expected. Still, for the cost, this is a great unit.

I had purchased this product for my Daughter in law last year and decided to purchase one for my Husband this year. It works as expected and is great for the summer and winter.

After Toyota could not readily install their remote start, I went to Best Buy and scheduled an install. This Viper system best suits my needs for my RAV4, since (after years of experience with my other cars) I need only one way and shorter range. The install technician was very knowledgable about the Viper interface to the RAV4. In fact, I did not have to give up my second key with a chip, as he was able to program the Viper to simulate the chip. Install took the good part of the afternoon. I have been using it at least twice daily for a month and am pleased to note I don't have any conflicts between the Viper and the Toyota CPU. Would definitely recommend Best Buy and Viper systems.

I had the remote started installed on 12/18 but was able to keep it a secret until we celebrated Christmas with our kids on 1/3/15. She loves it!

This car starter was purchased and installed at the Watertown, NY store. I highly recommend the geek squad, they have a professional installer who is very knowledgeable about car starters. He answered all of our questions and we were really impressed at how clean he keeps the shop/garage too! This car starter is very reliable and easy to use. I would highly recommend purchasing one for the cold winter mornings!

It's great to be able to start my truck while standing in line at the check out knowing my vehicle will be cool by the time I get outside. I will be getting another one for my other car.

this Viper car starter works great, and works from along distance. the only thing we didn't like, was that, it only came with one remote

Basic auto starter, but just what I needed. A little bummed about only one remote. Was told that when I had best buy install it.
