I was told by bb agent an additional 2 way remote can be added to this product and the same was ordered. At the time of installation I was told that none of the two way remotes are suitable. This made me utterly upset.

worst starter setup ever. not only was this outrageously priced but after i was all ready to get this installed by the geek squad, they told me i needed to spend over $100 on an adapter for it to go in my particular car. went to a shop and for less money they installed a system and backed it by their guarantee.

Before buying a remote start model WITHOUT keyless entry functionality, keep in mind that your factory keyless may not function while the engine is running. Try using the factory keyless to unlock the car while it is turned on. If it does not work, you would either have to use your key to manually unlock the car every time the remote start has the car running or you would need to turn the car off, unlock the car and then restart it again. If this would be a hassle to you, consider upgrading to a model that includes keyless entry. The aftermarket keyless option will often (but I'm sure not always) allow you to unlock the doors with the engine running because it is wired directly into the lock/unlock wires and bypassing the vehicle's computer. I almost bought the most basic model for both of my cars because I already have factory keyless on my Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX9, so why would I pay more for more buttons I already have? I am SO glad I did get a remote start that included keyless in the first place (other model on sale for cheaper) because I wouldn't have known until it was already paid and installed that the factory keyless wouldn't work on either vehicle. Having said this, the Viper remote start I did get has worked pretty well for me so far.

I hate this remote do not waste your time and money

It cost $300 total including install on a 2005 GMC Yukon. Works well so far. I like that you can take key out when stopping somewhere for a short period and the car keeps running. I only wish you could program easier. I have only used from 75ft so far. I will update when I have tried from a farther distance.

Bought this because of our newborn. Want to have him get into a toasty car this upcoming winter. Works great so far. I'm sure I'll use it with the A/C in the summer too.

Christian at Best Buy Chesterfield 1095 did a fantastic job installing the starter on my wife's Chrysler Concord. He was neat in his work, professional, and there were no hidden costs or surprises. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Just had this system installed on my 2014 Toyota Corolla at the BestBuy in Levittown, NY. Works great and I couldn't be happier -- I got everything as advertised.

Tons of Extra Costs, Geek Squad is USELESS! Stay Away from anything they touch. They scam everyday customers.

I had high hopes when purchasing the Viper 4115 V1B remote start from Best Buy and was excited to pick up my car from Geek Squad this weekend. It works great when standing next to the car and will work up to 100 feet away. Very disappointed in the range since it is advertised that it will work up to 1/4 mile away. I hope best buy will give me my money back and credit the install. I do not recommend this product unless you are satisfied with a short range.

Despite what the Viper website says this can not be installed on a 2012 Audi q5. I had to call 6 best buys just to find someone at geek squad that even worked on Audi, then he had my car for 5 hrs and couldn't get it to work.
