The Viper Responder One works great, When finally installed correctly. I recommend this product, but not the install guy at west oaks. Very unhappy with him.

All Viper products are true to their claims on how far they will work. They are far superior than the majority of factory remote starts, especially Toyota.

Even tho it says that it will work from 1 mile away, its important to remember that it doesn't work well in concrete buildings, ex: movie theaters, malls, etc. Otherwise it has worked very well.

so far my viper automatic starter is working fabulously, I have had several people approach me and ask were I got it from. I love it!

bought online and then had to pay $150 for special install unit which is mentioned but not the price, real sticker shock at install

It is performing well so far. No visual indicator that your car is running, only visual and audible notifications that it started.

Once installed, and you understand how to use the system, it's pretty easy! I held it down too long and it didn't start. Learnt from my mistake and since then, no problems.

Looking forward to trying it out during cold winter weather, but do need to get the timer setting re-set, not a problem

I live a few blocks away from where I have to park and this always reaches my car so it's ready to go when I get to it

The Remote Start works great! The security features are good and like how it shuts the engine down if you take to long.

Installer was very competent, accomplished installation under quoted time. Remote starter works great, no issues.

No problem with these remote starters. We got 2 of them, one for my car, one for my husbands. We love them.

I park my car in the train station. I start my car from the train when the train pulls into my stop.

All in all, does what it's intended for. Warms up my vehicle to operating temps and ready to go.

Remote works great. It is nice to have feedback that the car actually started. Highly recommend.

For the first few days it wouldn't work from far away and then hours or a day later wouldn't work 5 feet from my car . Seems to work off and on.

I decided to get my current remote start solution replaced with a new system, and I wanted Best Buy to do it. I had my windows tinted and a report start system installed in my car in the past, so I knew it would go well. Luckily, the tech was able to use my existing bypass module and hood pin. I wanted only remote start, as I had keyless entry and lock/unlock already built in from the factory. I also wanted a 2-way system, so I'd know my car was started. This system gave me both, and it wasn't that expensive. I'm VERY pleased with the range at which I can start my car. I can start my car while I'm checking out at the grocery store. I can start my car from within my apartment. I can even start the car from right outside the elevator at my 5th floor job.

Item was installed correctly and functions great. I Luke recommend this product to a friend
