Bought this car starter for my husband and he loves it. Install went smoothly as well.

purchased one for myself and then one for my son who lives in an apartment on the 4th floor and sometimes has to park a long distance from the front door. He LOVES his remote. It does burn some extra gas, but if you live in Minnesota, you know it is well worth the extra money to not have to sit in a -14 degree car for ten minutes while it warms up.

Very simple to use and great investment for living in cold climates.

great product but very difficult to get an appointment to install it.

Really happy with this so far. It's making the to-and-from work much more bearable in this cold weather. My office-mate is jealous everyday :) My only issue is that it was expensive, but I planned for that. Installation at my Best Buy was fantastic. The guy who installed it was super friendly. I bought this in December and they were able to schedule the installation within a few days, which surprised me.

This is the greatest investment I've ever had made don't have to go out to warm my car anymore.

You must provide a key at installation, and you may use the "normal" key rather than the one with remote activation capability. Also, you will have a choice to file the key (so it cannot used by someone breaking into your vehicle) or leave the key intact. The Geek Squad installs the Viper system, and the installation was not straight forward for my vehicle (Audi A4). They worked on the installation for a couple hours, then held the car for the next day to continue work. Best Buy was fair, and discounted the installation by 50% due to the inconvenience. Once Viper is installed, the remote lock/unlock no longer functions. So, you will need to use a "normal" key entry into your vehicle.

Arrived at your Lynchburg location for a scheduled appointment to install a remote starter purchased on your internet site only to find out that our wait, time and travel was all for nothing. We live 45mins from your store.When I arrived for a scheduled 11:15 appointment the installer stated he would be unable to install the remote starter control on my wife's 2016 Subaru Forester due to the fact I had not been sold the complete install equipment which would double the price. Your installer also indicated the additional equipment would have had to be ordered as the install location did not have the necessary additional equipment in stock. This was hard to sowollow as we feel the lack of communication and continuity was unacceptable. I just smiled, returned the controller and left without any real satisfaction other than another education. Your internet fine print does not do much for PR. Please note that your installer was kind and seemed to sympathize with our situation but could not offer much that would cause us to want to revisit your stores. Sorry

I was looking for a remote start that had a small remote to it due to having a vehicle that was all touch (unlocking the doors, starting and opening the trunk). My other car has a remote start and the remote for it is huge! Very pleased!

Great starter, no issues with range from inside my apartment or work. One button with tone and light confirmation of successful start. Can also be used to remote open driver's door when car is running and has car find alert when car is not. Can also turn the car back off if needed. Will require extra parts and install charges if done by Best Buy. My 2016 Toyota cost 110 in extra parts; security bypass and tilt switch.

I got the starter because of my daughter so I could turn the car on from home. it's amazing I can have the car around the corner and still turn it on from my room and now in the summer I love it for hot days I can still turn the car on the matter where I am at the house or in the office great reach, with a return signal to alert if the car did or didn't turn on definitely recommended this product.

Works like it says. Wish it went through two brick walls and a thousand feet. It's good through one brick wall and about 500feet . But almost starts the car about anywhere you want to. For example in my gym if I park right it will work through 2 brick walls 1 glass window with a total distance of 300ft or 100yards . Start car from locker room.

Make sure to ask about additional costs for install. Unit was $269 but with extra parts and install charges the total was $450.

I really enjoy climbing into a nice warm csr! Not to mention, it's even easier and less time consuming to scrape the Windows of ice when the glass is already heated! I Luke the tone confirmation that lets me know when it does or does not start as well so I don't have any unexpected surprises. Excellent purchase!
