I was disappointed in this items cuz you have to also buy a starter and also purchase the subscription.

Love this product. Took me a few minutes to get it set up but once I did I was very happy

I returned it once the install tech informed me of the extra cost associated with this product. $99 a year

The store en Gwinnett Pleasant Hill Never give me the installation appointment I haved to return all the equipment.

Great product and great value. It goes what it is supposed to do.

The reason this is a clearance item is the fact that the 3G network it is using will stop in year. I confirmed with directed that they will no longer support it so and recommend upgrading to the VSM550. Glad I did, it works so much better than this one and will work for lot longer than a year!

The employee knew what he was talking about and I have no doubt that the product will be just fine.

Can't really comment on how it works because the local store never installed it because there installer has quit. My appointments come and gone with no installer as of yet.

Unless u like dealing with locked sites ... terrible viper customer service .. go ahead and get this.. goodluck

Had this on my 99 Jeep Cherokee. Mine came with a 4 button key fob as well (not sure if this one does) that had great range. The whole point of this system is unlimited range. This is done by CDMA cellular service. That's why there is a monthly fee! Gotta pay to play folks...and let me give a few examples of how this is handy.... I was with a friend in his vehicle, my jeep at home, windows down. We were about 30 mins from my house when it started to sprinkle. I started my car via app (2 way confirmation let me know it started), unlocked doors via app, and called my sister to roll up windows. Since car was started/unlocked, she rolled up the windows for me, saving me a soaked interior... love that cellular range! Another time, some derelict was messing around with my car. I was about 10 blocks away when I got a notification on my phone saying the alarm was triggered. I hustled back in time to confront the guy, who started walking away quickly when he seen me. Nobody cared about the alarm going off btw, and if not for the smart start, I most likely would have had a busted window when I returned. If your vehicle is worth it, this system is worth it. If you park in a parking structure, or far from your residence, this is what you need.
