I had this installed on my vehicle so that I could have the conveinence of starting my vehicle from my office in order to warm or cool the car before getting in it. It takes a little while for the signal to send. I would have to say that's my biggest complaint and it usually works 90% of the time. I opted to also purchase the unit withy the keyfob in the event my phone is dead or I am somewhere without good cell coverage.

I've had my smart start for about a month now and I'm very pleased! There's nothing better than being able to wake up from a nap, open an app and start your car. It takes a few seconds for each command to register, but that's just takes some adjusting to. Simply press the button a few seconds ahead of time and you're fine!

Bought first unit with new vehicle in 2014. Had to replace (with plan still "active" but wouldnt work) due to outdated cellular technology they knew was going to be phased out (but sold units anyway). Then when new unit plan went up drastically in cost, didn't have a plan for 2 years (didn't need it and now want to restart) and now won't ALLOW me to purchase a new plan, have to buy a new device. It is a $350 piece of garbage in my truck now that can't be used. Their website has always been garbage. Their app is trash. Their customer service is nonexistent. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
