For an LG Virgin Mobile phone, this is very sleek, light, easy to use and has a great display. It's definitely the best VM phone I've ever had, and I've had a few that were absolute garbage. Very happy with this purchase. I don't NEED an iPhone. I need the essentials and if that's what you're looking for, then this is a much cheaper and easier way to go.

I was surprised, even at $90--which is the original price, before an activation discount & a lucky price match--that this phone does pretty much what I need it to do. Obviously, technology moves fast, things get cheaper. It's a "cheap" phone, if you want to call it that, but the processor(s) make things fast, even with the billion things I tend to multi-task. The display is fine, and the LG is super easy to use. There's an auto-function on the "selfie cam" that brightens up the shot--and the MP are fairly decent for a phone like this on the external and internal camera. My biggest, BIGGEST complaint is the battery life. It has a 2,000 mHa capacity; It lasts me only about 3-4 hours. I do use it A LOT, and a Best Buy associate suggested the reception issue I have (the phone constantly searching for a data signal) might be partially to blame. 8GB of internal memory is not really what I'd like, but given what I paid--I'll just mention it as something to note. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied, but if I'd paid $90, I'm not sure 4 stars would be the rating, or how I would feel about it.

*Disclaimer: All phones mentioned in this review are only in regards to the phones sold by virgin mobile and do not reflect other prepaid phone carriers, experience may differ* As far as virgin mobile phones go, we obviously tried them all. After trying one after the other, the only ones i trusted were LG and iPhone. I always seemed to get issues (that have bothered me) from htc and the budget samsung phones. Had to give my old htc to my mom for audio/headphone, earbud issues. Ridiculous! Have yet to try the newer samsung phones because of price. Lately LG has been doing a good job at making phones that dont make too much of a fuss and rarely, if ever, have given my sister issues. With her schedule she naturally takes awhile to upgrade her old phones and i couldnt stand to see her use it anymore! Previously she was using the older lg tribute 2 and after 2-3 years it was showing a need to be replaced and gave her many performance issues towards the last year of use.The Tribute HD does much to remedy that. I tested it before giving it as a gift and definitely notice a difference. Including a much improved selfie camera that my sister is happier with. Web surfing improved with of course some minor snapchat lag (snapchat is known for this on the budget phones i have used) and other tiny faults but its a budget phone! So these arent a deal breaker since my sister isnt looking for iphone performance but one that was pretty similar to her old phone and so much better in fact....so im glad i found this! And on a sale too. Also giving her peace of mind that she doesnt have to get use to an entirely new phone. If you arent in the market for an lg stylo and just need a prepaid phone that works for less than a hundred dollars, definitely have this as an option.

This is a great inexpensive phone for a young teen. It has enough memory to run his apps and store his photos this is actually the 2nd phone of this model (the first one had a skateboarding accident). He actually requested the same phone when the time came to replace it. Downside is finding a case to protect it can be a pain unless you are willing to order one as Best Buy does not carry them in store. I ordered one from another website.

I bought this phone at the recommendation of an always reliable team member at Best Buy. I wanted a good phone my mother (81 yr old) could text, talk and Internet surf with email could use. She did have computer experience but the help feature on the phone is very informative and easy to understand. The camera is of good quality and the screen is a large enough size to use with a stylus which Mom found easier to text and surf with. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because Mom has only had it for 2 months and she hasn't used all the features, yet. I love to purchase any electronic at Best Buy in Whitehall PA. They are all knowledgeable and willing to help at anytime, anyway!

My wife's phone has had problems for months now. I finally drug her to Best Buy and told her to pick. She picked this one. It has been performing great! It's reliable, the battery life is SUPER. She can go with moderate usage about a day an a half without charging. She's tested it a couple of times to see how long she can go. It's got a decent screen with an ok camera. Don't go trying to compare it to a high end phone's camera, but if you are on Virgin Mobile this is probably going to be ok for you. The only thing she doesn't like about it is it will not fit in her front pockets like her smaller old phone did. She likes the extra screen but I think ultimately she will probably go with a smaller one next time for that one reason. It fits just fine in my front pockets.

It was time for a new phone and with Black Friday coming up, I knew this was the time. I read reviews online for 2 other Virgin Mobile phones that were to be on sale at Best Buy. When I got to the store, this one was on sale for even less money, and is a better phone, in my opinion, than the other 2 I was thinking of! I had a Tribute and a Tribute 2 before this one. I am WAY pleased with this phone all around. The speed and ease of use is great! I was able to use LG Backup to transfer all my apps and settings from my previous phone to this with ease. That alone made it worthwhile! I would DEFINITELY recommend!

This phone works really well for the price. The Virgin Mobile service paired nicely with the phone. It has a surprisingly nice and clear screen which truly seems HD. After adding the memory card I was able to clear up a lot of space and the phone ran pretty fast for the price. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone looking for a good reliable prepaid phone.

This is a surprisingly nice phone especially for the price. It is light and big with a nice screen and sound. The camera is not the greatest but good for the price of the phone. I have had many high end phones and am happy with this one instead.
