Good blender for the most part. Easy to use for blending both dry and wet ingredients for my daily use. However, one thing to note is on my attempt to blend fibrous plantain stems (which were diced into long strips), the fibers got twirled under the blade. I did try to run the blender with a bit of dish soap and water to no avail. Its hard to maneuver under the blades to remove the fibers that were twirled below the blade.

I absolutely love my Vitamix Explorian E310 Blender! The blending power is amazing, it crushes ice, frozen fruit, and tough veggies with no problem. Everything comes out super smooth, and it’s perfect for making smoothies, soups, and sauces. It’s built solid and feels like it will last for years. Definitely one of the best kitchen investments I’ve made!

I use mostly my vitamix for margaritas and canning tomato paste. I like the margs blended and this removes all chunks. The tomato paste is where its at though and the reason I first bought one. I can quarts and quarts of tomato paste each year but hubby won't eat if it has seeds or skin so I used to strain the blended tomato puree for hours ( I know about blanching and such but this is sooo much easier) Now pretty much put whole tomato in with core removed blend and you can longer recognize the skins or seeds. Hubby happy and a bunch of time saved.

I wanted to like this blender more than I do, however it’s a good blender. I just don’t know if it’s much better than a blender half the price, but it’s still better, albeit only moderately better. I’m not disappointed, but I would have considered other brands in this price range had I the hindsight. It is difficult to clean without being able to remove the base, for instance.
