This Vitamix blends fruit smoothies better than most normal blenders. It’s takes high fiber fruits and blends them quickly leaving no chunks. The speed control is easy to use. The tamper helps with getting foods all blended. The pitcher has a removable cap that allows for adding items as your blending without a mess. It’s the perfect size to have on the countertop as it doesn’t take up much space. I’m really enjoying this Vitamix and all of its power!

Quality blender, at a high price

TLDR: It cannot be argued that this is a great blender. In my experience with it, it holds up to the Vitamix name in its build quality and ability to produce excellent, silky-smooth smoothies. However, it also cannot be argued that you are paying for a brand name blender here and that it lacks some of the features and conveniences that blenders a hundred dollars less offer. Is it worth it? That will be up to you. Opening this blender felt like opening up an Apple product. It was thoughtfully packaged and its minimalist appearance along with high quality materials are sure to stun. I have no doubt that this blender will last for years to come. It has a 1.2hp motor which is adequate for most of my blending needs, including chopping up as for smoothies. Without a pulse function, though, it feels like a finicky process to get the wheel selector of this blender to do its job at times. Overall, I am satisfied with this blender and as a fan of the full sized Vitamix, I can see how this is a great addition or substitution in the use case of someone who wants a quality blender but doesn’t need all the bells and whistles. Thank for reading and hope this helps guide your purchasing decision.

The Vitamix One is my new favorite blender! With a super easy to use control knob, it does exactly what I need: Blends! It has a great minimalist design and makes amazing smoothies that are just the right size! Super easy to clean up and get ready for next time and it also does not take up a bunch of counter space! I love it!

With all the gimmicks and tricks that you see in blenders now days, this unit is a breath of fresh air. Opening the box you get the base, the container, the lid, a tamper and a manual. That's it. On the base there is just a dial. No buttons with various settings, no preset programs, just turn the dial to turn it on; turn it more to go faster and less to go slower. I love the simplicity. The base is pretty big in comparison to the container and that allows a nice big motor that delivers a lot of power. I was able to blend frozen fruit and some juice into a smoothie in less than 30 seconds without any chunks. The size is pretty small (only around 4 cups) compared to other blenders, but honestly we don't do more than around 2 cups at a time and when we do more than that this works fast enough we can just do batches. And the smaller size also means it takes up less room in the cupboard. If you want a simple powerful blender and don't need to make a lot of your recipe at once, this is the blender for you.

We’ve all been to the local smoothie shop for a healthy blended treat. We’ve also seen those blenders that have that pretty space age cover that deafens the thunderous roars. I’ve never heard of Vitamix until now. I’ve always thought it was just an odd name that I’d read every time I’d order my girls vanilla bean frap at the local Starbucks but man do those commercial blenders get the Job done. Don’t let the name fool you. I’ve made smoothies, salsas, and the occasional cat treat but this blender is the last blender you’ll need in my opinion. I’ve gone through cheap blenders and you do get what you pay for. Minimalistic settings in any cooking options is a super plus because I like controlling how I cook and how my food comes out completely. This is a great addition to anyone’s cooking Arsenal, especially a blender because everyone needs a blender. Such a convenient appliance from a reputable company.

This blender just works but will take some time for you to get used to the dial and how it works for the consistency of the food you want. It was interesting I can't use it for any hot liquids or nuts of any kind, but for what it does it does great. This has kitchen presence and is easy to clean. I would say if you want a quick and easy breakfast smoothie blender or a blender for dips around the holidays or that Sunday game, then this is a great addition to any family. The only knock besides what is already mentioned is that if you like to set it and leave it, then this may need more of a personal interactive approach especially for dips or anything besides your most basic smoothie. That is a function of the dial design. If smoothies are a regular part of your day then this is a great partner and won't let you down.

Nothing beats a straightforward and dependable blender. There’s a ton of blenders and food processors out there. I have tried a good number of them, each one with their own bells and whistles. Others have unstable base, others have too much features I never really used. But this Vitamix one makes me feel like I’m using the blender for what it’s needed. The dial (yes, only one!) is simple and perfect even when I am wearing mittens. The base is very stable and the power-- I can liquify anything I put in it with ease. Easy to set up, install and even EASY TO CLEAN! This is a product that my mother will love. Unfortunately for her, I love it too.

If you are looking for a blender that is smaller and well-made, this Vitamix One blender is a great option! It is clear that Vitamix did not cut corners with this device as far as quality goes. It comes with a very sturdy 3 prong cord and the gear that connects the pitcher to the unit is a very sturdy metal. All around, you can tell that this unit is made with quality parts and is a blender that will last. I have used less expensive blenders from other brands and they are definitely not made nearly as well as this blender. I was not surprised by this as Vitamix is known for making very durable and high-quality blenders. I was disappointed to find out that this unit cannot make hot soups or nut butters like the larger size Vitamix blenders. In the documentation on this unit, it says that making nut butters or hot soup in this unit will void the warranty. Also, something to note on this unit is that is only has a 2 year warranty which is significantly less than the larger and more expensive Vitamix units. For my rating, I did take off 1 star due to the lack of capability to make nut butter and hot soups in this unit. It is disappointing that you can’t do everything that you can in the larger units. It also would have been nice if the dial that controls the speeds of this blender had a little more range in setting the blending speed. While there are some limitations with this unit, there are still a lot of things you can do with it. You can make smoothies, sorbets, hummus, nut milks, etc. I was very impressed with the blending capabilities of this blender. Unlike the blenders I have used from other brands, this blender creates an extremely smooth and creamy outcome. No seeds or pieces were left in my smoothie. Several other blenders I have used get nowhere near this Vitamix in terms of smoothness. All of the other blenders I have used always have seeds and pieces left even after blending a long time. Despite the small size of this unit, it does an excellent job at blending and pulverizing seeds and producing a very consistent outcome. Like the full size Vitamix blenders, this unit comes with a tamper that allows you to easily guide what you are blending to ensure that everything reaches the blade and is well blended. This unit is definitely simpler when it comes to the speed settings and blending options, but it handles all the basics and essentials really well. After making a smoothie in this unit, I was able to quickly and easily rinse it out and wash with soap. Overall, this is a great basic and compact Vitamix blender that handles the essentials really well. The blending performance is excellent and produces extremely smooth and creamy outcomes for whatever you blend. If you are looking for a compact, simple, and well-made blender that blends really well, this is the blender for you. It definitely does a better job at blending compared to other cheaper blenders from other brands.

To begin, I do like this blender. It is a Vitamix, so there is a good name behind it, and, largely, they do deliver a great product here. That said, there are a few things that I wish were different. It is a simple, sleek, and clean design. I like it. Black. A single dial (more on that later). It is solidly built, feels good in the hands, and while it is a bit smaller (keep that in mind) and lighter than most other Vitamix blenders, it is a good size and weight. It is a good counter space saver, no doubt; however, it could have been even better. The plug originates from the back of the device, instead of the bottom, and protrudes out a bit. It is an odd choice and holds it back from being that true small footprint they seem to be aiming for. This blender is a bit underpowered (at a lower price point of course) when compared to their professional models, so keep that it mind, but it still has more than enough power and you still can do quite a bit with it. Think most of your basic blending needs. Smoothies, ice, cold drinks, etc…just nothing hot, overly thick, or similar. This is perfect for me. My main use case is more or less smoothies, fruits, sauces, and ice-related things. It does all of these very well for me. Without issue. The smaller pitcher size (32 oz) is perfect here. I have a lot of experience with their more advanced models via my job, so I would have appreciated a (dedicated) pulse mode, and the ability to use it more for some food prep, but for my day in, day out, (and price) this is what I was looking for. I will add, while I appreciate that it is easy to use, and the single dial works well, I do really think they should have included a simple power button. You kind of just spin and go. Something to be aware of. Ultimately, I like this blender. I do wish there were a few minor things done differently (including the shorter warranty period), but in the end, it fits my space, looks good, is well-built, and simply does everything I need and want it to do very well. It does come at a bit of a premium over “other” blenders, but I think the increase in quality is worth it, both in performance and durability. To me, there is value in that - buying one thing that works and lasts instead of X number that do not and need to be replaced.

I love the relatively compact design along with the knob control as you turn it for more power. The tampered accessory allows for through mixing of your ingredients. The two year warranty while not as long as other lines in the vitamin catalogue is more than adequate. Best to get thus on sale as the price is a bit up there given hot soups will void the warranty but otherwise 4.5 stars.

    One-step above the standard blender

Comes with a nice little tamper for those hard to blend mixes like any standard professional blender. The Blender jar has a nice pour spout to it vice the little pour dimple seen on most blenders that usually overflows at times while trying to have an accurate pour. The fact that is round not square is different for a similar, equal to a professional series blender. The design of this blender, base allows for easy movement or permanent placement. The designs seems to encourage the portability of the blender and being able to take it to places or use it in more than area of the house due to the smaller foot-print. For someone just starting out in blending, this would be a good option. For those seeking out advanced options, trying to save money…spend the money for the professional series. There is limited options for settings and no pulse option, turn the knob and it only gets more aggressive from the start. It does get the job done at the very least.

    Good Little Blender

This is a good little blender and does have the Vitamix name behind it. Although, in a way, I think that almost takes away from it. If this was any other brand, I think I'd find the power of it to be quite good. However, it is not the same level of power that you get with a full size, professional model Vitamix. I know that's to be expected since it's a lower price point, but again, it's what I've come to expect from a Vitamix, so still a little difficult for me. Consider that why I took half a star away. The other half of that star is for the controls. I've used other personal blenders and that still had more than one blending option/speed. I'm not a huge fan of the one speed on/off dial. I started with the negative, so I want to end on a positive note. This is still a Vitamix blender and the quality is of course there. If you're looking for a pretty powerful, smaller blender, this is certainly a good option. Just know that yes, it is powerful, but it's not your typical Vitamix power.

This is a great mixer from Vitamix. In a world of features, add-ons, and extras, it is sometimes refreshing to have something simple and basic that works as advertised. Upon opening the box, the Vitamix quality is evident. This blender fits perfectly on the counter and has a simple, yet elegant look. Reading the instructions, they clearly state that you should not use the blender for soups and nut butters but everything else is fair game! The blender functions via the use of a single knob. No frills, no pulse setting, no puree setting. Just turn the knob and go! This thing has all the power that is typical in Vitamix products. I am giving 5 stars because this thing works, and works very well. I don't need features!

This is quite possibly the easiest mixer one can use. With its single rotary dial, there is zero learning curve. You simply add your ingredients of choice and twist the variable speed dial from slow to fast. In my use, I have found that it's best to start with a slower speed until the ingredients are roughly blended, then turn up slowly to faster speeds to make your ingredients smooth. That said, if you try to make thick smoothies (which is what I normally do), you will either have to use the included “tamper” tool, or stop the motor and remove the container to shake the contents free and re-start. I have found that I need to do this roughly three to five times to get the motor blending in a smooth manner for thicker blends. Once the motor is blending smoothly, it does an excellent job of making even thick smoothies ultra smooth. Another thing that I noticed right off the bat while making my thick concoctions, is that the motor permeated a smell (almost a burning smell) telling me that it was working really hard to get my mixture blended. Time will tell the longevity of the unit if I keep using it for thick mixtures. Other things to consider are the height of the unit. With the base, container, and lid installed, the height is 15 ¾ inches. Measure your cabinet height if you plan on storing it below. Mine clears by only ¼ inch! The size of the container is just about perfect for two decent sized drinks. Make one for now and save one for later. Cleaning is a snap. I just rinse the container in the sink, then add some fresh water and a couple of drops of dish soap, then blend, then rinse. Easy, easy! The volume is actually not bad at all. I have had several blenders and this one is relatively quiet. Vitamix offers a rewards program for users of their products. If you sign up when you register your product, you can earn rewards and discounts. In conclusion, if you are blending drinks that aren’t ultra-thick, this blender should be all you will need. If you want ultra-thick smoothies, or a smoothie bowl consistency, I fear by the smell, this may not be the correct choice and you should consider a more powerful Vitamix unit. If you are a large family and everyone loves smoothies, you may also want a larger unit. If you only make one or two servings at a time, this is a great size.

I had the opportunity to try this blender out and for home use you get a lot of value for the price. I’ve used vitamixs and other high end professional blenders at work and school and while it isn’t that for the price and home use for most people this is great and simple to use. The motor is very good and much better then this $50-$100 blenders you’ll find on the shelf. You can make smoothies in this which is what I primarily use this for and makes it great. There’s only a dial to control it and works like a charm

its nice to see a affordable vitamix and one that is still a great blender. however that said, i am giving a 4 star. a few reasons for why. its small. its 32 oz. not that its a huge deal but there are other models out that are pretty good in the same price range if not less. and you get more with them and a bigger blender. it also lacks the power its higher end model has. vitamix was known to be able to make a soup with the blender. with this model, you wont get that. you can blend together things great. but it wont blend and get it hot. the knob is also just a turn. so you turn it and the more you turn the more power it gives. i would have loved to see the knob at least have a pulse option with it that is full power. like maybe the option to turn it counterclockwise and it goes to pulse. outside of those things though. its a great blender still. smaller so you do save room with this blender. i love that it comes with the tamper piece. with most blenders, at times you would have to stop, take the lid off, use a spoon or something and stir the ingredients at times to get some of them to the bottom to get blended. with this you dont have to. you can keep blending, open the top cap and use the tamper. its the perfect size and wont get caught in the blades. my kids and i love to make milkshakes and smoothies. this was easy to use and just put our ingredients in and let it go. couple times we used the tamper. so much easier and did a much better job then a cheap blender we used to use. if you dont mind not having a larger blender, and dont mind not doing soups this is a great alternative to have.

Overall the blender is absolutely amazing. The only reason why it did not get a five-star is that it's extremely loud on the high setting. I compared it to my other blender and it beat it hands down as being louder. However, I would definitely prefer this one as the blender's bottom piece is fixed, which means less leak possibility as compared to other blenders. The only flaw is the noise level.

The Vitamix ONE will not dissapoint, you can expect all of the things that Vitamix is known for but in a smaller footprint. I have had many blenders & use them very regularly so I can tell quality and have no complaints with the ONE. I am impressed by the power of this blender because I assumed it may let me down because of the smaller size but it has tackled everything I have thrown at it soo far. The build quality seems to be solid, the unit is fairly quiet and has a good feel. I especially like the smaller frame size because it will fit in places where my other blender is always too tall. I would recommend the Vitamix ONE to anyone & already have in fact!
