This is a machine that will take the place of your reg blender and your smoothie/desert maker. It will even do warm soups! Love that is will not leave remnants in my smoothie.

Purchased this for the soup making feature & the self cleaning is a huge plus. Definitely happy with this purchase. The Best Buy employee even gave me a coupon discount definite score!

Seems to blend better than the counter depth ones without having to use the tamper. Only drawback is the height but wasn't an issue for me which is why I purchased this one.

This is worth the price to not have chunks. I highly recommend if you are even thinking about getting it. I tried a couple others and finally took a chance and glad I did.

It is good to have a blender that is tough and does the job. We've used it for soups, sauces, smoothies, iced deserts. We love it and use it all the time.

This blender is amazing! Blends fast and cleanup is a breeze. Nothing to take apart. There's absolutely nothing the vita mix can't handle.

So much more than a blender! I researched both the Vitamix and the Blendtec. The Blendtec has had multiple issues with the black rubber inside the blender breaking off into people's blended goods. I did not want to take that risk, and LOVE the Vitamix. The cookbook that came with it is wonderful, from hot soups (heated in the Vitamix) to the BEST margarita ever, to the frozen acai bowls and of course the smoothies. I have made every kind of goodie and I am super happy with this purchase.

Normally would not think of spending this kind of money on a blender but I had bariatric surgery and will be living on pureed foods for 3 weeks and wanted to make sure the blender was up to the task. Been using it for a few weeks and it has handled anything I have put into it. I would recommend this to somebody that needs a heavy duty blender.
