Many appreciate the projector's multiple connection options, including HDMI. A common concern, however, centers on the remote control's limited range and usability.

I wouldn't have bought the projector at its original price of $599, but the $399 price tag made it worth the purchase! Definitely buy a real speaker though.

I bought it for private use and I like it very much. Picture quality is very good. You won't need speakers for inside room use for 4 people. It is very light yet good quality. Only thing lacking is a small stand that would help to adjust height.

Excellent portable LED projector that produces very good HD quality video (not for outdoor) . Tried to use for more than 5 hours and I dont see it is getting over heated. Remote should have been more useful , No Lens cover. No Optiacal audi output.

This projector works great. I project onto a screen that is about 6 feet wide and the picture is good. I'm just using a homemade backdrop and I'm perfectly satisfied with the picture quality.
Most of the movies I've been viewing by putting MP4 files on a USB flash drive. The drive connects directly to the projector. I've also watched a few movies using an HDMI cord connected to my laptop but this isn't as convenient because you have to hassle with the cords.
I use an audio cable to connect the projector to the home theatre sound bar. The projector does have a built-in speaker, but it's about as good as you can expect from a small built-in speaker.
I have only watched movies at night so I can't speak to how well it will work with ambient daylight sneaking around the curtains. It works pretty well even with a lamp turned on, so depending on how much daylight is coming in it may work fine during daylight hours.

I was looking for a mobile projector to use for meetings and saw the Vivitek - Qumi Q5 LED DLP Pocket Projector. I decided to try it. So happy I did! It projects well, very bright, very clear and easy to use. A little pricey, but worth it.

This little projector su prized us all. We bought it because of its small size for carrying around for seminars. We where blown away by the image quality and ease of hook-up to our macs. A must buy if you need a lite projector.

I have used this a few times now and I'm pretty happy with it. I love that it projects my iPad presentations with great hdmi quality. It is brighter than I expected and you can get the picture quite large by moving the projector farther from the screen/wall. I do find having to use the remote a little annoying and I can't figure out how to make it find a device directly from the unit. It does not come with a manual. It also does not have any height adjustment nor a spot to connect a tripod or something. To get the picture higher you have to prop the projector on something. Additionally, I expected the keystone to either be automatic or easier to find to adjust. For travel, the size is amazing. It is not perfect for me but great and much better than bulkier alternatives.

I watched a Blu-ray movie on an 80 inch screen. It was both crisp and bright. Easy set up. I connected it to my Bluetooth speaker. I like the remote. My other projector was a Brookstone 200 lumen projector.

I got this for customer presentations. I will say no it's not the clearest/crispest display, but it's good enough for presentations. If you want something you can watch movies or stream tv shows with... get a home theater projector.
For business though this thing can't be beat. It's super light. Very portable. Everything you need comes with it, so no I have to buy this cord and this adapter to use it. Right out of the box it's ready to go. Super easy to use. I use it with my iPad for client presentations. My boss has borrowed it and used it with his laptop. We always get compliments on it. One client had a projector for us to use but it was giving them problems. I always carry this one with me, so I set it up and we used it instead. After the presentation was over they wrote down the model so they could get a few for their office and their agents to use out in the field.

This item has changed our summer! We have watched outdoor movies several times in the last few weeks. I love that I can hook my MacBook air up to it (separate thunderbolt cord purchase) so easily. The picture is fantastic. We have been just projecting it on a loose canvas against the fence.
I do plan on using this for work occasionally and love how portable it is.

The first week I went on the road with this projector I used it 4 times and while at the hotel. Very nice! Easy connection and great functionality. Just a note: there is a 1/4-20 tripod connection... it is under the square on the bottom (the product documentation didn't show this) - I hand a table top mini-tripod and it supported the unit without any trouble. Compact, nice protective case for projector but case does not have room for the power supply and cables. Again these are just review notes for information.

I love this little projector. the picture quality can't be beat for the price (got mine on sale for 299.99). however, make sure you don't misplace the remote control. it is next to impossible to operate the projector without it.

I bought this projector with the intention of using it for business presentations - hooking it up to a laptop and projecting to a wall with the lights turned on in the room. I found the projected image to be pretty good. Although when I compared it with the Optoma ML500, I found the Optoma image to be a little brighter. One issue with the QUMI is that the if you attach a stand to it, the stand is not centered, and so the projector can very easily tip over. I ended up returning this particular projector and bought the Optoma ML 750 instead.

I'm a DJ and I do karaoke. I was looking for something very compact that I could throw in my gig bag to project the screen in all situations, light rooms, dark rooms, you name it. This little work horse has proven to be a champ! It's bright. It's clear. It's tiny enough to fit in a bag with a lot of other gear, and it's performed perfectly every time. So happy with my purchase.

This is a good presentation tool if you are not needing high resolution and brightness for a large/big room or crowd. It is easy to carry, set up and work with for presentations to small to mid-size (35 people) in rooms that are semi-darkened and not overly bright. This would not be recommended for a large presentation room and crowd (e.g., 75+) or if high resolution and brightness are critical to the presentation. Have used it for multiple days and for extended days and during a single day for upto 7 hours and have had no issues. It does not get overly hot, and operates cooler that what I would have expected. I ceratinly would recommend this to others if portability and ease of use are the critical variables.

I really like this projector. My only issue is that I cannot seem to get the WiFi to work on it. Plus I cannot find the Dongle anywhere since the directions say I need it to get the WiFi to work. I also cannot get it to project from my Apple devices right away. I plug then unplug and then plug again and sometime it comes projects. Still haven't figured out how it's actually projecting and how it should start projecting. But when the picture does show up, it's BEAUTIFUL and clear movies and presentations.

Used this projector primarily for PPT. Great resolution and set up is very easy - plug and play. The functionality of it is very simple - and lots options I didn't even think I needed but like! The size is great. Only negative is that I wish the case was large enough for the cords/connectors as well.

Easy to set up and use. The remote is weak and needs to point at the unit vs. the screen. The darker the room the better the picture. But with that said. Plug in a thumb drive, an HDMI source or something else, and for the price it exceeds all expectations.
