The sound is great and would be a five star purchase. Rated it 4 stars because it doesn’t connect to a universal remote and have to use the remote for it as well. I’d recommend it as long as you know you’ll probably have to use 2 remotes.

I purchased this for my mom to improve the sound of an older Samsung Plasma TV. It sounds great and was very easy to setup (her TV is not Bluetooth equipped). Can be controlled with her Uverse remote. The only downside is there is no HDMI connection.

I have a LG that I bought with my LG TV. I wasnt crazy about it and the top end was not loud enough. This provides plenty of punch and great quality of sound. My only issue is sometimes the background noise is more then those who are talking on shows.

Soundbar sounds great! I love the subwoofer you can up the bass sounds Great!! Easy to hook up and use. I would definitely buy this again! Very Happy with it.

I won't compare this sound bar's clarity/frequency response to more expensive ones as that's not really a fair comparison. What I will say is that this little bar/sub combo punches way above it's weight in terms of overall volume. I owned a bigger Sony soundbar that wasn't half as loud as this, so if you're struggling to hear your TV and looking for sheer volume this will get you there. In terms of sound quality and clarity, the bar is fine. Probably above average for it's price-point. The bass coming out of the soundbar is fairly deep and has a nice rumble. The only negative is the remote. It feels small and cheaply made, and the LED readout is difficult to read. It's not a huge deal though as this can be programmed to be controlled with your TV remote.

I read a ton of reviews about soundbars before deciding on this one. From many reviewers, I read that Vizio has taken large leaps over the years and has become a great a leader of making great sounding systems at great prices. I can't argue that after making this purchase. It sounds really good in my living room and I'm amazed at times that it literally sounds like there are other front firing speakers creating surround sound, when in fact it's just the bar spreading the sound around the room. The sub does plenty of bumping...too much for my wife, so I barely get to use it. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this item.

Got this top rated sound bar on Black Friday at a great price. Ordered it off line while I was in another state and picked it up from the store. Easy set up and great sound with wireless subwoofer.

Good quality sound from a simple and quality unit. You will not confuse it with a Bose system but for what it is - fine. Good price and a nice additiin to a smaller room experience.

This speaker system sounds amazing. Obviously it doesn’t give you the complete surround sound experience as with a 5.1 or better system, but for the Black Friday price I paid for it, $110, I have zero complaints about the performance. Good volume, highs, and lows. The sub pumps out some serious bass. 2 non-sound related complaints..... 1) you can’t read the remote’s screen in the dark; 2) when I use my iPhone to play music via Bluetooth, it doesn’t automatically restore the connection when you switch to Bluetooth, and when I select it in my phone’slist of previously paired speakers, it won’t connect. I have to delete it from the list and pair it like it’s the first time again.

I was a bit skeptical of this Visio soundbar and sub at first. But after watching my first movie on it I instantly loved it. Amazing bass and amazing sound. Would definitely buy it again

Can't beat it for what I paid for ($100). So easy to set up. It took me less than 10 minutes to unpack and set up. Very happy with the sound. Would definitely recommend this!

The sound is like being in a movie theater. I have mine hooked up to my TV in a large master bedroom. Great value for the cost. I am highly impressed with the quality for the price I paid.

I bought this 2.1-Channel Soundbar System to complement my Vizio TV. I'm glad I did; it produces sound way better than the TV speakers alone. The Wireless Subwoofer makes this one to buy, especially for the price. Would highly recommend.

I saw the review for this product and was really impressed with what was said. BUT, lots of reviews can be favorable, and not backed-up. This system is great! I use it with a 40" HDTV in my son's room and the sound it produces is amazing! So clear, awesome surround and the sub is strong (despite its small size)! It uses Bluetooth so he can play his music as well. The bar really does a nice job with picking up dialogue in TV shows and movies. It's clear, even with background activity. The value of this system, for the price is unmatched! You will definitely love what this soundbar can do!
