Worked perfectly purchased in store as an open box I would purchase at full price again great sound for the price point

I purchased this as a gift for my parents who had some problems hearing the sound from the speakers on their TV. I set it up and the Vizio soundbar produced a surprisingly rich and balanced sound. Sure, it probably doesn't sound as well balanced as a higher end system, but it nevertheless sounds really good. The bass was very good and the highs were well controlled. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve the sound of their TV experience!

READ!!! Vizio has since discontinued their awesome SB3621N-E8M/E8(this system) for their new V21-H8R V series system. It is NOT good!!! Same price for less than before. This old SB3621N-E8M gave you up to 100 decibels of sound while their new V21-H8R system only gives you up to 96 decibels of sound. The subwoofer speaker(not the box which doesn't matter much at these sizes) on the SB3621N-E8M is 5.4 inches in diameter while the subwoofer speaker diameter in the new V21-H8R system is ONLY 5 inches in diameter. The "old" and AWESOMELY GREAT(for the price) SB3621N-E8M comes with Dolby Digital®, DTS Studio Sound™, DTS TruSurround™ and DTS TruVolume™!!! The "new and improved" garbage V21-H8R system only comes with DTS TruVolume and DTS Virtual:X!!! DTS virtual:X is a newer codec (not necessarily better especially with a measly 2.1 channel setup like this system) and provides a barely discernable increase in bass during movies depending on your setup and how many speakers you have surrounding you, however it doesn't matter because this subwoofer is SMALLER and will provide less bass overall and on top of that, this system is only 2.1 channels so you will not get DTS Virtual:X!!! (makes sense why it produces less decibels than the old sound system)!!! What a fail from vizio. I gave the old SB3621N-E8M 5 stars because of how great it is and I recommend it 100 percent for the price. That being said, I cannot recommend the new garbage Vizio is trying to pass as it's successor and implore you all to pass on that system and look elsewhere, mainly Polk or klipsch with MUCH better specs for around the same price or marginally more. It's sad they discontinued something great for that V21-H8R failure. Stay away from that one!!!

I had this installed with the TV in my master bedroom, and the sound quality is great for the price. Definitely well worth the money.

Good sound quality. we only stream so audio is not always the best. The function to keep all sound the same volume can drown out dialogue with louder background noise shows.

I picked up this sound bar after returning a more expensive Sony model. The vizio sounds great and the bass is more than adequate. This sound bar is much better than higher priced items and I think you would have to more than double the price to find one better. Not having a hdmi port could be a drawback but for this price I didn't care. It was easy to connect and paired nicely with my devices including my xfinity remote. Dialogue is clear and the bass adds a great effect for movies. I got it on sale for $140 and am very happy with my purchase.

I watched Polar Express and the part where the train initially went to the boys house to pick him up... Oh my word my windows shook!!! This one is amazing & so easy to set up. If you have the digital optical output on your TV that is really the only card you'll need. Don't forget to go through your TV's audio settings to turn the TV's speakers off. Make sure to read the directions for the best possible way to use it. It runs you through the setting for the tv also.

After returning 2 Soundbars with returning a $80 LG one and also a $280 Bose one i settled for this one not always spending extra is worth it this sound bar is probably worth every penny wish i would of just went with this one from the beginning the subwoofer hits hard and the soundbar it’s self is loud only complaint is you can’t put it to loud cause the voice from the sound bar wouldn’t sound that great but beside that go for this soundbar if your in the market and you don’t want to spend much !!

I bought this to mate with a new 70" TV. Both are installed in the end of a 40 x 60 "great room" that serves our organization. I have purchased three soundbars for personal use and none can come close to the performance of this beauty. I paid $109.99 before Thanksgiving, fully half of the price previously paid for soundbars without a separate sub woofer. This little Vizio unit sounds fantastic, is very easy to set up and even has a remote with a small screen to help guide you through set up and changes.

This soundbar is great! the quality of the sound exceeded my expectations. The bass is rich and it does not get distorted at high volume.

I purchased this to pair with my vizio 50in M series tv for my game room and it really packs a nice punch. I had an older vizio soundbar with a sub and wanted more bass hence this purchase. I love the fact the sub is wireless and can be placed just about anywhere in my room as long as an outlet ia available. The sound quality is 1000x better than the basic speakers. Voices are clear and you can crank this up with zero distortion. You cannot go wrong for 120 bucks.

Currently using in living room with a 65 inch Vizio tv. For the coast of this sound bar it does a pretty good job.

Does not get much better than this at this price range. Easy to set up and easy to use. Good sound. Woofer could use some more power but still a great product.

Sounds great with TV, sports and for bluetooth music. I'm sure there are better systems out there and I've heard others, but for the price, this system is the most bang for the buck!

Sound bar has great sounds any thing on tv. The Subwoofer adds the right sound when watching action shows or even football.

Excellent sound in a small package. Great buy for the price. Subwoofer puts out good bass just make sure you place it in a good area preferably in a corner to reflect bass. Recommend
