Not to mention the flat screen TV's have terrible sound. I have resisted buying a sound bar and amplifier just for myself but broke down. It is marvelous. I can actually hear what they are saying and the voices are clear and distinct. My niece says she's hearing things in films she only heard in the theater as well as her video games and she's enjoying playing them more. I would recommend this to very one

Great for small living room
