Product stopped working properly 6 months after purchase.... it sounds like cracking in the speaker even when it's on low volume settings... prior to this it was a great stereo.

I really like this soundbar a lot. Being able to control the treble and bass is a plus. Had to use the analog cord rather than the digital optical. I think my optical cord isn't working. Will check it again. Had to get it to complement the VIZIO 48" E-series I also got a few weeks back. I would really love this soundbar if it had a HDMI hookup. (Vizio I hope you're listening...hint hint). Overall, it's still a nice audio setup. My old SONY setup is SOOOO ancient. It doesn't even have digital optical or HDMI hookups. The Bluetooth works great. It synchronized with my wife's phone while she played her favorite tunes on Pandora. Looking forward to our first movie night...just me and the missus. VIZIO If they update it an HDMI hookup I will go get it in a heartbeat.

The integrated subwoofer on this sound stand, combined with the separate bass and treble controls, gives you a really great upgrade to your TV/movie and/or video game experience. I placed this in my family room and I was really happy with the sound. The only thing I didn't like was the way it looked with my TV setup. I feel like if you have some level of organization or a "look" with your main entertainment center, then this sound stand throws off the balance. It doesn't have anything to do with the way the stand looks, but more just the concept of placing a TV on/over a stand. If this is for a bedroom, or somewhere where you don't care what your setup looks like, then this system is one you should really consider.

The Studio Sound and True Surround give quite a few options to cater to what type of sound you like best. The highs and lows are superb. The quality I liked the most, was lots of clear load power. I even take this unit outside by the pool where there's more than enough power for a party. Bluetooth works perfectly. All my friends were amazed with the sound quality. I absolutely love it!

I purchased this along side my Vizio E50 UltraHD TV. Very easy to hook-up and fits perfectly under my TV. The sound is pretty good. I think I expected to be blown away by the sound and I am not. The sound is good enough for the room in which it sits and the size the unit is perfect.

I purchased a Vizio sound stand to replace the sound coming from my tv speakers and what a difference! It has a built in subwoofer with treble and bass controls all from a remote included. Everything you need is included in the box with good instructions. I would recommend this unit for anyone who wants to enhance the TV sound experincence.

I purchased a 43" Vizio TV for the bedroom and was (understandably) left severely disappointed by the sound compared to my full 5.1 setup in the living room. I wanted something compact that wouldn't require a lot of wiring or take up a lot of space. After purchasing this unit and a competing Samsung sound stand, I returned the Samsung and kept this one. After trying both, the Vizio seemed to have a better range of sound that wasn't harsh, unlike the Samsung which was bright enough that it made the compression artifacts of Bluetooth streaming really stand out. The Vizio had actual bass that felt substantial, but it did sometimes become overpowering with movies. Playing with the bass level can fix that somewhat. The Samsung unit does have two benefits: Surround sound (which worked fairly decently, the sound felt more open) and a full LCD display instead of blinking lights on the Vizio. All of this could be due to Samsung being an older model that's discounted to about the same price as this newer Vizio, but in the end, that matters less than what each unit can do.

Live in a apartment building so I didn't want something to over powering this was just perfect for a small living room but lt does go loud enough for the neighbors to here and it does have great sound for the size.

This sound bar is great for tvs that sit on a stand (not wall mounted) and offers great sound for the price. And actually better than a few wall mounted ones that cost hundreds more.

Not nuanced, with muddy bass/midrange. For the price, I was expecting better.

This is bigger than the average sound bar but produces much better sound, near stereo quality. Just what I wanted.

So I just purchased a big screen and needed a good sound bar to go with it, nothing pricey but nothing cheap either. The reviews are accurate, the sound that comes out of this thing is impressive and surpassed my expectaions. I have it paired with my mac pro and I also use it with my iPhone and really that's all I needed something to blast my music when I'm home... I'm happy with my purchase :)

We had purchased the 6-piece Soundbar set with satellite speakers and subwoofer, however it was an overwhelming level of sound for a small apartment. The soundstand pairs well with the 55" Vizio TV and was very simple to set up.

Initially worked okay but always needed to be actvated by increasing the volume. Then volume control was inconsistent where one day it would start normally at a volume setting of 8 then the next day it would be at 32. Finally, the sound would not come on for 5 minutes or until the volume was increased to 100 (finally getting crackling static). Call to Vizio said they couldn't help since it was out of warranty (14 months old).

We used this for 2 years and it started to buzz and rattle at higher volume - orchestral music is the worst offender

I was so excited about this purchase I did not save the box after opening. After getting it all set up, the sound was horrible. I cannot even turn up the volume over half of its capabilities. There is a terrible vibration. Very disappointed as now I cannot return. Very frustrated with this product.
