I bought this product for my bedroom tv. I have a 9.1 system in my family room so I wasn't looking to create a home theater. The sound from this is very good and the clarity is outstanding. The Dolby TruVolume works really well especially at night. The sound is a little heavy on the bass but this can be adjusted by moving the subwoofer around for less "boom." Supposedly this can be bought without a subwoofer but you can't add it later (at least that's what the sales guy said). So I bought it as a 3.1 package. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision.

Needed a new amplifier but when I heard the sound quality, and the small space required I was a buyer. Very easy to set up. I can put the wireless sub woofer any where I want. 3.1 sound gives a great sound. the bass is very deep. I never had a sound bar before but am very happy. Buy it now.

Vizio has surprised me with this sound bar. It is the only sound bar i've ever used but the sound is great. Only 4 stars because the led light display isn't the most user friendly.

This is a great sound bar if you don't have room for surround sound or just don't want it. It has a woofer with it that really puts out some serious sound!

I bought this for the 42" TV in our 5th wheel RV. The sound on the TV was barely audible at the highest setting, especially when the A/C is running (which is all the time in Las Vegas!). The Vizio was easy to set up, and since our space is small, the simplicity of Bluetooth is very handy (no wires all over the place). The sound is crisp; the background sounds do not drown out the spoken word. With the subwoofer behind the couch, it feels like I'm in a surround sound theatre when watching movies. I can't speak for the sound quality in a larger room, but when comparing at the store, the Vizio stood out as well.

Awesome sound, sub works perfect for a large living room. Synchronization with phone and tv was easy.

Went with this on a co-worker's recommendation. Very happy with the sound quality. I have a hearing problem and don't need the closed captions as much. Only drawback is having separate controls for the TV and sound.

We went from having a Yamaha surround system to replacing it ask with this one bar and wireless sub and it's amazing!

I went with the Vizio for our Vizio tv for remote compatibility plus the solid reviews and excellent sale price. A huge improvement over the stock speakers in the tv so we are very satisfied. We can now hear people talking much clearer on movies and the nightly news.

My HDTV surround sound is pretty good, but the addition of the Vizio 3.1 soundbar was an economical and effective upgrade for our TV room. The soundbar has all typical audio connections. So, in that space, my family uses it with game consoles and TV, where we're usually seated in the "sweet spot" about 6-10 feet away on our floor, couch or chairs. The middle channel makes dialog much clearer, while the subwoofer adds the necessary extra depth for low music, explosions, crashes, etc. Together they make for total cinematic immersion in movies or games. We enjoy the system and believe it was worth the price. Basically it has a simple setup and worked out of the box for us, without needing to reference to the manual, except for the light codes that show input selection. I recommend it for performance, price point and ease of use.

For a tight and crammed living room this soundbar does the job. The wirless subwoofer is discrete and powerful.

Super happy with this sound. I kept both speakers near each other and the sound is best that way in my house.

By far a great bang for the buck. In my opinion the best part of our new TV. Sound is great and has a lot of bass. So room filling that I actually find myself looking away from the TV when offscreen sounds seem to come from another part of the house. Excellent!

I purchased this sound bar for a rec room. I already have a Vizio Sound Bar on our main TV, but it doesn't have the sub-woofer. The new sound bar was easy to set up, looks good, and sounds great. Good, deep bass from the sub-woofer, and the surround sound is really good too. As a big plus, this unit is bluetooth capable, and sounds really, really good when streaming music through it.

This is my first sound bar, I am very impressed with the quality of the sound. It was amazingly easy to install with the Vizio TV that was also purchased, one wire to plug in the TV and into the bar. Very is to change settings and add bluetooth devices.

I am a big fan of Vizio soundbars and this is no exception. This is very nice looking and sounding soundbar/sub for a good price. I like that this model is 3.1 not 2.1 so you can adjust the "center" channel speaker level independent from the other drivers. Helps to make dialogue nice and clear.
