I was helping a 94 year old friend purchase a TV since her old trusty Magnavox tube set finally bit the dust. We chose this TV because the feet were no more than 25" apart, and fit on her existing TV table. (Many other 32" sets have feet farther apart. The TV was OK out of the box, but the sound was horrible! The default high frequencies (treble) were turned up way too high. I looked for a simple "menu" button on the remote and set itself, and found none. Learned the only way to make many adjustments is by using a smartphone app. No kidding!! Is that stupid, or what? My 94 year old friend doesn't have a smartphone, so I downloaded the app and found the simple five band graphic equalizer. The only acceptable setting was to have the two highest bands turned all the way down! So....TV is OK, but no menu button and horrible audio out of the box hurt the rating. Didn't fiddle with any other settings or test any other functions, since my friends was getting tired. The TV is just used for the news, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune!

Waited one day too many to return this poor buy. App doesn't always work. App isn't user friendly. TV has glitches. Most recently sound went out and remote quit working. Wish I could return it and get my money back. Will never buy another Vizio.

It's a nice TV set and it works well, just be aware that you need an up to date phone in order to install the App, old phones wont take it. If your phone is a couple of years old it may not allow you to install the App and you will end with no remote and no Chromecast,, as far as I know. "The VIZIO SmartCast™ App is required to turn your phone into the remote."

Good TV perfect size for my bedroom. The TV has a great 1080p picture.

We bought this TV as a replacement for my mother-in-law, she doesn't have internet but the TV works perfectly for her even without internet access. Got it set up in a flash and she's happy. Great picture for the few channels she watches but a great deal overall. These new Vizio's rock!

I use this TV to caste from the ipad. It is great for a second tv

The remorte control is only usable with this tv, there are no compatible remotes that can be used to fully control this device and others too, Roku needs to address this issue in my opinon needs to be compatible also no way to insert a dvr in order to record any shows while watching others

Liked everything but the remote, and that is a manufacturer thing.

For the price the tv was a good entry HD tv. I use it for gaming.

Great 1080 HD TV. Chromecast is a nice alternative to smart tv

THE T.V. FITS PERFECTLY IN CABINET. I HAD RETURNED ANOTHER T.V. FOR LOW PREFORMANCE, AND VIEW. I WENT AND LOOKED AND FOUND THIS VIZIO, WOW . PRICE RIGHT, PICTURE GREAT AND FOUND IT IS (FIVE INCHES) 5 INCHES TALLER THAN THE ONE I RETURNED, BUT STILL 32 INCH SCREEN. THINK ABOUT IT.

While the picture quality and sound were adequate, the remote control was ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Everything had to be set up to be controlled by a smart phone or tablet. So much for a smart TV!!! I returned it immediately.
