All apps are accessed by Casting them from your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. It must be running iOS 8.0 or higher or Android 4.4 or higher. You can pair them with the VIZIO SmartCast™ application available for free download in both app stores. You can Cast many popular applications such as HBO NOW, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Spotify, VUDU, and hundreds more! Vizio Smartcast App - Required to operate

It took a about 4 hrs of a Saturday with the Vizio help desk to get setup what i could then i quit. They knew there was problem when this was rolled out. It is poor quality code and too difficult for the user. Power on function from app does not work even after resetting power option making you use the remote anyhow. Will not pair causing the user to link thru WiFi. Even after linking thru WiFi most options are greyed out preventing using the app for anything. Bottom line is its very difficult to get working if at all. Seems as though the app was not tested or thought thru. I'm returning the TV and suggest Best Buy return all Vizio TV's that require the app.

VIZIO SmartCast™ products are controlled using an application instead of a traditional remote. This means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. I still haven't been able to get the ChromeCast to work. The remote only allows you to adjust volume, set timer, and toggle up and down channels. You must have a SmartPhone to operate the TV. Even with the phone you are not able to type in the channel you want.

OY I got lucky and only had to wait 12 minutes for someone. I literally just stood in th we middle of the room. There are a lot of employees at Best Buy and everyone seems to be busy. But no one helps I got lucky and a supervisor spotted me
