    Great Unit for my Bedroom

    I needed to replace an older unit in my bedroom. Did some research online and found this unit. Purchased it, installed it with no problems, perfectly fit my needs. Would recommend anyone consider this unit for their similar situation.

    We purchased 2 of the televisions for each of my child's rooms. We were not aware that they are "streaming" TV's . We had to buy a dvd player in order to be able to use Netflix on them.

    I purchased this TV because I was told at Best Buy that it was a smart tv and my grand daughter could use it with netflix. Come to find out it does not even have a remote. You have to have a cell phone or tablet to download an app to use as a remote. Since I purchased it in Houston Tx and she opened it in Memphis Tn it could not be returned. Not happy with it at all.

    My husband brought this home for an early birthday present & after setting it up, the sound was not what I have come to love about Vizio. He returned this one & bought another 32" Vizio, that was cheaper & it's sound was so much better.

    Tv itself is good but I hate the fact that in order to use advanced remote features you have to download a remote in your phone or tablet.

    This is one of my favorite places to go and I was very disappointed when on the day of this purchase! There was no help available of being in the store for over and hour walking around in home theatre. Knowing that when I customer comes into your department you have 10 secs to acknowledge them! Even of you are helping someone else! When I finally got the help, I asked certain questions and was assured that this was the better TV and I wouldn't have any problems with it! OMG when I got home I couldn't set it up I had to download an app to control ghetto channels,on/off,and setting! I couldn't get it to connect to Wi-Fi at all! I took it back after notifying customer service that it was not a good TV and the lady told me that she would have never recommended that particular (smart cast TV) to any customers. It was not a good tv. She connected me with the store manager who informed me that she would take care of it and let the evening manager Nikki know and that she would have to help me because I requested a managers help! When I got there she had no recollection of me even coming to the store but then....she thought ..."oh yeah I do remember...let me get someone from home theatre to help..." at that time I told her no thanks just give me my money back I will go to another store! The guy at the customer service desk was very rude and unprofessional and just because I love the store it will not stop me from buying product just next time train your people on how go address customer service issues!!

    First time experience with a visio. Can't stand Chromecast, TV remote is a piece of junk and does not function like a remote should (you have to use the app), and the app for the TV doesn't like to connect to the TV. I will never buy a Visio again. It claims 1080p and the picture quality is ok. My 42 in Panasonic is so much better and it is 5 years old. Don't waste your money like I did.

    TV was easy enough to set up, after I returned the first one with a broken screen. Setting up the smart function on the smart phone is a problem...still have not bothered to do it after 6 months!

    As soon as I plugged it in, I immediately got that burning ozone smell, that lasted for about 2 weeks. A couple weeks have passed without the smell, but just yesterday, the TV wouldn't turn on until I pulled the power cord for a couple minutes forcing a reset. I have the extended warranty and will probably take this one back soon. You'll need to use the app to manage the TV's settings. There's only so much you can do with the remote. The TV doesn't handle full screen mode very well. I watch old time television shows which don't show in fullscreen.

    I didn't realize until I got the TV home that it had feet instead of a center pedastal. The feet would have hung over the table edge. I exchanged TV for a Samsung with a pedastal.

    We bought the TV to play during the Superbowl. We hooked it up to our internet and guests enjoyed watching the game with no problems. We now use it for streaming.
