This item is not good, I will never recommend it to anyone. It's too difficult to operate and I'm still trying to get YouTube videos for my kids for over two months now but still can't. I returned it to the store but they rwfused to take it back. "BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BEST BUY GREEN DALE MALL"

Do not waste your money on a VISIO product, after 6 months the TV has already broke. I should have went with my gut and purchased the INSIGNIA, I have never had an issue with that brand. I install CCTV and frequently purchase TV's for customers. I will never purchase another VISIO.

Returning this TV because of the remote and the awful menu system. You are suppose to download an app to your phone, but could not get it to work. I am in IT! Apparently you have to use your phone app to see the program schedule. Very annoying.

Thank you for the feedback. The VIZIO SmartCast App can be downloaded on any compatible Android of iOS device through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. As long as they are connected to your homes wi-fi network, other people who use the display can also download the app and control the display. If other users want to watch applications like Netflix, VUDU, or Crackle, they can cast those apps to your display without actually signing into the display with their account.

Had issues with this model. Audio and video were not in synch. Not a smart tv you have to download an app to your phone and it's not user friendly. Returned this for a Samsung in a week.

I should have known as soon as I saw the remote that I would be disappointed. This TV requires you to pipe in all streamed content over your phone or tablet. What if I need to leave and someone else is watching streaming content? Either my phones stays, or they can only watch until the current show ends.
As for the app, it's not good.
1) Apps - They must have agreements with some folks, because it only showed 10 or so streaming channels. Netflix, Hulu, etc. I have dozens on my phone. It the app sits on my phone, why is it not showing all the streaming apps I have on my phone? If you can add more, why does it not prompt me to do so?
2) Performance - I set up the TV and everything was going great. Then it stopped in the middle of a show. It refused to reconnect to the TV. I rebooted my phone and the TV. Nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it would not "find" the TV, even though the TV showed it was connected to Wifi just fine. I was able to use the Chromecast feature just fine, but the app never did recognize the app again.
Don't get me wrong the picture is great on this TV, but it's going back. As-is this TV isn't smart. I can hook my Chromecast into any TV. Never again Vizio...
