My mom has one and is very pleased with it, so I decided to try it. My Samsung lasted only a couple of years, yuk. It was easy to set up and is a USA product.

Perfect size and the picture is bright and sharp detail. Price was not a consideration, but I found it to be a good value

I've had several other Vizio TVs with no issue...until this one. My problem is more with the "protection plan" I purchased and not Vizio itself. Hooked up the TV in my son's room and when I turned it on, I noticed a weird noise coming from the speakers. Double checked the connection (just a HDMI from the cable box)...no issues there. Tried another HDMI port and same thing...tried a different HDMI cable and same thing. Finally, disconnected the cable and just turned the TV on with nothing connected and still got the same sound...only to go away when I muted the TV. Boxed it up and took it back to Best Buy (Geek Squad) and now I will wait several weeks for them to send it out and try to fix it. They should have just exchanged it right there for me with another new TV. Instead I get to wait several weeks for them to send it out and try to fix it...or if they can't, send back a new or refurbished one. REALLY...exchanging a new TV for a refurbished one??? I would have no problem if I had the TV for a long time, but brand new out of the box and I may get a refurbished one back??? Completely unacceptable!

I bought this set about a month ago and have been very happy with it so far. Only - is the lack of a VGA port but good otherwise.
