This TV is absolutely a full feature Smart TV as a Smart TV is one that has the ability to connect to an internet connection. You are correct that the TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Our camper is a little older so we had to buy a special bracket to mount it. Most of the campgrounds don't have HD tv so we don't get as clear a picture as we like, but that's not the tv's fault.

To my surprise it cost me $.30 more to buy from COSTCO. A few days after I placed the on-line order with COSTCO, my wife decided that the 32" TV would be fine for my living room so I placed another on-line order with BestBuy for the very same TV and if I had to do it again, I would use BestBuy again for the entire purchase. I now know that COSTCO is a bad idea and I will never do it again. BestBuy is still the best and always will be.

It froze up a few times, so I would unplug it for a minute and start it up again and it was back to normal. It hasn't done it in a long time, so no other issues with it, It is in my grand daughters room and she seems happy with it.
