It is a good TV for the price, I just don't like the SmartCast feature. It is slower than using a media streaming device, which I connected to my TV. The picture and sound is good. This is my first Viso TV, not totally disappointed.

I was unsure about Vizio as being a competitor within the TV market even though the salesman said it was one of the best values for the price. Glad I listened to him. It has a fantastic picture , like that it is internet ready, & it was easy hook up.

I am really enjoying this tv. The size is perfect for a bedroom and it’s extremely easy to use. The picture is also amazing.

Mom needed a new tv and this one was; the right size, affordable, and it’s working. The set up was easy, 2ppl hooking the tv up to the stand was easy (once we found the right size screws) and it’s has a good picture. So far so good. One plus months down.

I wanted to reduce equipment, so I purchased this TV. No more smart dvd player. I just plug in the tv, add the internet cable and I can watch tv, surf u-tube, or watch a streaming service like Netflix or Hulu. This TV does it all and it looks good/sound good as well. If you don't want to run an internet cable, you can just tether the tv to you ethernet. Some people might find the input selection and changing channels a little confusing at first.

I bought my first Vizio Smartcast in 2014. I gave that one to my mother in 2018, since she wanted a 40" flat screen TV in her room at the nursing home. That one is still working well. However, my second Vizio started having problems after less than two years. Since I had purchased a service plan with Geek Squad, I took it in for repairs. Because of COVID-19 and a reduced staff at Geek Squad, the TV would have had to be sent out and would not have been returned for two weeks, I requested an alternative. Geek Squad came through and offered to credit me with the original cost of the TV. Although I could have purchased another brand, I decided to give Vizio 40" Smartcast another chance, since I knew it would be easy for me to set up and operate. So far so good after a service technician at Vizio recommended that I use a dedicated outlet and surge protector for the TV.

I’ve had this tv for almost a month now and I love it !! The picture is great and it already has a bunch of pre-downloaded apps for you. The only bad thing is that the smartcast sometimes does not work properly and I have to unplug the tv for it to work.

Very nice tv. It was easy to set up and use has wonderful picture and the sound on it was amazing didn’t need any soundbars. The remote does react kinda slow when clicking through the screen but you can also just download the app. You can’t really download any apps on the tv that you may want but it does have airplay and chrome casting that made up for that.

Awesome tv. Clear and sounds great. Had it for over 2yrs and still works great.

This is my first Vizio tv and large screen tv. Picture is great and like how light it weighs. Only downsides are that the sleep timer is 30mins as it’s lowest minutes, the delay to input channels took some getting used to as well as the input options. But otherwise love the tv.

Ease of use is a huge plus for me. It was easy to set up, get apps downloaded and ready to use. The sound quality surprised me bit with how good it really was for the price point. Picture is impeccable. Perfect size for an apartment living room. Fills a space like that well.

So far it’s ok. When we push a button it takes a second for the tv/remote to respond and go to what I clicked. The set up was easy. The picture quality is good. We’ve only used a few of the apps so I will update more later.

Got this to replace a TV in my exercise/sewing room. It has a nice picture. It is rather slow when connecting to internet. The remote control is also kind of finnicky; have to press buttons multiple times.

I’ve had my smart tv for less than 2 years. It started out good although the sound quality is not that great nothing a sound bar couldn’t fix I guess. But it brings me to say that now the sound and picture freezes up periodically. I tried to resolve myself I’m a little savvy but it continues to do it. I thought it was my cable service but I narrowed it down to being the tv itself. Too late to return and warranty expired. I had a vizio when they first came out and the eye stopped working so I’m pretty sure I won’t be buying another vizio. Oh and the smart one I bought doesn’t have built-in Bluetooth another disappointment.
