We had planned to purchase a Samsong but Best Buy was out of stock on a 48 inch but there was not any in stock anywhere in the Phoenix area and no plans for Best Buy to carry this size again. We were recommended by the sales person to consider the Vizio 48 inch which ended up purchasing and to date are pleased with.

Your only option to use smart functions is to stream content from your phone.... We have enough devices in the house that it shouldn't be an issue, but it is inconvienant. If I would have known this upfront I may have gone with the Samsung alternative for the same price...."4K" lured me in.... Regret my purchase.

This TV is outside and the Sales associate said that a 4K TV has better components inside it then any LED TV, weather concern. Hence I spent a few extra $ and I'm very glad I did the TV has great color and shines through even during the day when the sun is out minimal glare.
