    Got this for a deal, works great in my room but my Samsung has a better picture to me.

      Thanks for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you saw in the store. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    Poor TV/ Worse Monitor

    Bought to be used as a multitask monitor/TV. The advertising it is a 120 HZ TV is a lie. It reports as 75 HZ, but the maximum is will do is 30 HZ. In other words, if you plan to use it as a computer monitor it is garbage. As a TV, in high action scenes, the picture becomes a series of flashed images unable to keep up.

      Thank you for your feedback! VIZIO Home Theater Display's do not have an included tuner or coaxial input. This Display does have several input including 4 HDMI ports and a component port to which you can connect an external tuner, sold separately, that will allow you to view over the air programming.     Picture goes black periodically. Sound works but no picture. Need to turn off and back on. Need an android phone (not iPhone) for full functionality. Only weeks old. Planning to return. Very disappointed.

    I set the TV up.. tuned to a 4k signal (Off of Netflix) and the picture was not significantly better. There was no "WOW" factor. I returned this TV and bought a 4k Samsung and the difference was amazing. The Samsung was so much better. Pass on this one.

    I just wanted a simple, plug in, connect to cable, and watch tv. No, it was very difficult to set up software for tv, didn't know what they were talking about, minimal instructions, had to have a smart phone and download an app..,,,,too much hassle!!

    While the picture on this TV is okay, be mindful that it's not a Smart TV. It merely displays whatever you beam from your phone or streaming device -- and response time really seeemd to lag. Not thrilled with this item, so it was returned.

    Bought 3 of these as christmas gifts, they were bought online and shipped to my house. One was opened today (26th) and the screen is crushed. Will be returning it asap. Buy from the store and inspect it before leaving....

    This TV is very average, it's not worth the money. You have to download an app to even change any settings. It comes with a useless remote. I returned this and got the Samsung 4K 40" instead and am much happier now.

    Everyone looks at 4K like it is the "must buy now" item, however most everything still does not utilize 4K technology, so with that and the TV not being a smart TV - this is really not worth it at this time.

      Thank you for your feedback. A few pieces of info that may help you. This model is a Smart Display but not in the traditional sense. Our SmartCast series uses built-in Chromecast technology which makes it possible to use thousands of different applications from your smart phone, tablet, or computer. To complete the setup and connect your display to the internet you use the SmartCast App. The app also allows you access to the advanced menu functions such as the timer, picture settings, and other features.     I bought this as I had a prior Vizio tv and the price was good. I was very unhappy that there are no apps right on the tv, you have to use a smartphone or tablet. The remote is awful there are hardly any buttons on it, a smartphone or tablet can be used for this as well however I did not want to do this. There is no antenna in hookup if you want to use a hd antenna for over the air channels. The picture was also not great and faded in and out. I returned this tv after 2 days and went with a different brand instead. I won't be buying a vizio tv again.

This means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. Some VIZIO home theater displays no longer include connection for a coaxial cord. We do include a complimentary HDMI cable to provide a hither resolution image from your cable or satellite box. External antennas can be connected to one of the HDMI inputs to receive over-the-air signals. There are also numerous picture settings that can be adjusted as well.     Spend the extra couple hundredof dollars. This is a decent TV but let's leave it at that. Well worth spending two or 300 more dollars for a better quality set

    We returned this TV as it's refresh rate was so poor that sporting events caused the pixels to break up as it could not keep up with the motion.
