Red - everything was really red. Red was REALLY red. So I looked for settings to correct this redness, but found there are no settings to correct color issues. I ran some color bars on the screen, it was simply way off. The lack of adjustment options, forced into poorly designed factory presets, we ditched the Vizio (thank God for Best Buy's return policy) after three days and are much happier with our Sony.

I checked out this brand online, and read a number of good reviews on it. My experience, however, was not so good. Within 3 days of purchase, the picture on the screen began simply fading to black, and then coming back on 5-10 seconds later. And it was doing this repeatedly, in all input and picture modes. So I returned it to the store and got a Toshiba TV, which I would rate five stars.

Get a "smarttv" instead. "Smartcast" is extremely limited. Have you seem those tv's hanged in your favorite restaurants or dentist clinic that never get moved and are never used for anything else than showing the same content over and over again? That's the purpouse of this tv. It's no use to anything else.

SmartCast Displays do use a different method of displaying apps than most traditional smart tvs. The Displays use Google Cast to send the content (show) from the app to the display. SmartCast Displays are compatible with thousands of apps that use Google Cast technology, and have the capability to share Google Chrome browser tabs from computers, and do screen sharing from some Android devices. This display also has several HDMI inputs that can be used to watch cable or satellite services through a set top box.

Had to return the first one purchased due to picture fading to black for no reason. It took a week for Best Buy to replace it. When I finally got a new one, I had to return it because of a black line on the left side. I am not going to buy a Vizio nor purchase anything from Best buy again.

I ordered this Television online, when I received it, everything from there went down hill. THREE CELL PHONES with Vizio's application would not find the Television. I even contacted Vizio's Customer Service and that was a joke in itself. Save yourself the money and get a real Smart TV!

We were so excited when we bout this tv, got home plugged it in and no sound. Called Best Buy talked to a manager she told us to come back. They were sold out of that tv so we go a different one , super happy wth that second choice and best buy they took care of the problem.

I went to Best Buy with the idea of purchasing a Samsung and the sales associate told me to purchase this vizio, because it was going to be better quality. Wrong choice i made, i had to return it because i had to purchase to many gadgets for in order to make it work.

I will never purchase a Vizio again. The app-remote disconnects frequently and is poorly designed. And, the lack of a real functioning remote means you are stuck with the app. Picture blacked out in a matter of weeks.. and then again after repairs where made.

Some VIZIO home theater displays no longer include connection for a coaxial cord. We do include a complimentary HDMI cable to provide a higher resolution image from your cable or satellite box. Thanks for your feedback! This display can only show the picture how it is being received. Most content isn't being filmed or broadcast in 4K so you won't necessarily see a 4K picture all of the time. If you are watching streaming content through Netflix or Vudu that was filmed in 4K and your internet bandwidth allows it you will see a 4K picture.

You need to have a few things to have a good experience with this - a good wireless network, a smartphone or tablet, and a familiarity with casting apps. Also, if you don't have satellite or cable you will need a separate tuner for broadcast channels because this isn't a tv - it's just a display. The supplied remote is very basic. The setup instructions are almost useless. There is no centrally located pedestal so you will want a stand that is at least as wide as this display. All that being said, I really like this thing.
Pros:
This is my first 4k and I'm very pleased with the picture - I'm not too demanding.in this area.
The bezel is pretty narrow
My favorite thing - using the Chrome browser and Videostream plugin, I can cast practically any video or audio from my computer, essentially doing away with my need for my Roku/Plex channel. I haven't used my Roku 3 at all in the 3 weeks that I've had this display.
Cons:
for some people, everything mentioned in my first paragraph
I would highly recommend this product with strong caveats.
