Picture was terrible not 4K as it said returned it and got a Samsung for the same price

TV didn't have coax cable I don't have cable I have an antenna returned it same day

Remote has minimum features. Must use tablet or cellphone for majority of tv use.

After watching TV on this for a few hours the picture seemed off, the black's werent black and had weird streakiness to them. I then realized the HDMI 1 is labeled ARC and HDMI 2 is labeled (BEST). i swapped HDMI's and the picture quality went through the roof. I tested with my PS4Pro and 4k videos on youtube as well and the picture quality was amazing. Don't make the same mistake I did! The manual / instructions are awful!! that is why I removed 1 star. This TV has NO tuner built in, it is ONLY a display, which is perfectly fine for 99% of us that have cable boxes.

This TV is great for me because I mainly watch Netflix, Twitch.tv, and Youtube for entertainment. If you do research on what this smartcast tv/googlecast tv is actually all about and understand that the quality of the picture is as good as whatever the source is that you are streaming from, you won't be disappointed. The downside is you have to buy a separate tuner box to watch regular tv/cable tv. So depending on the source, this 4k Ultra HD TV has the potential to look the best of the best. I am happy with using my phone as a controller because once you start/play whatever you are streaming to your tv, you can back out of app on phone and still use your phone to do whatever you want while it's still streaming to the tv display. I bought this exact tv at my local Best Buy, and I am very pleased for what I got for $399. For people who don't have a lot to spend on a high end tv, this is an amazing deal. But please do a little research before buying and then giving good products like this a bad review.

The picture quality and features for around $600 dollars are worth it. In store demo lighting does not give the picture quality justice. It looks great even without calibration once you're home. The only cautionary tale I have for anyone is to consider is the quality of Standard Definition picture. The up-convert engine does its best, but it can't fix something that was so low quality in the first place. I called my provider (Dish Network) and they confirmed most Standard Definition signals they receive are at 480i. Stretching that heavily compressed image on a 4K display is just a disaster. You must understand this is not a fault of the display. Just hope your most favorite channels do have an HD feed to the provider. We were not so lucky. We tested multiple other higher resolution videos and they look FANTASTIC!

Bought this TV in a manic episode after a poor interaction with a colleague and MAN OH MAN was it worth it! It’s been great and truly no issues. There is always a struggle when trying to connect sound bars either with the HMDI-arc or the optic cable…gets frustrating and takes ages. But worth it for the image quality. The APLVE TV selection from the TV itself plays the audio two seconds ahead of the voice so I have to use my Xbox app for Apple TV instead… TV sound itself is horrid, so be sure to grab an external audio system!

Picture and sound are respectable. Sports events look pretty good, regular TV shows are great with a little picture adjustment. Sound is clear and loud for the built in speakers. I give the set (picture, sound) 5 stars for the price, features are more like a 3.If you are buying as a smart TV you will most likely be disappointed. After this purchase I've become more of a fan of the standard smart TV. Being able to cast is great, but having no apps built in (amazon, Hulu, Netflix......) isn't so good. Will be the last chromecast built in set I purchase.

Pros: 4 HDMI Ports 4k Picture Affordable Price Cons: Chromecast Very Basic Remote Picture seems blown out with 1080p content I really wanted to like this tv. As someone that has an iOS device using the chromecast isn't a great experience. The watchESPN app doesn't support casting to this tv. I can airplay but I see no option for casting. I don't like that there isn't an interface really without the Chromecast.

Love the TV, the picture clear and sharp and the color is amazing. I love the idea of using my personal devices as the remote. Overall it's a excellent purchase for the price

I bought this tv a couple days ago and its been such an awesome tv with great picture quality. People on here complain about the smart cast app but it is not a deal breaker at all, especially if you're mainly looking to play video games on it. This TV was a steal for the price of 400, beyond happy with this TV.

This tv has great quality and is a great smart tv, setting up smart cast is a bit difficult but after you install the vizio smart cast app to your phone , anything you watch on your phone will stream to the tv like YouTube videos, Netflix, HBO go etc.

Nice tv for the money. Clear and bright, easy to install on a wall mount. We are using it in our loft as a movie lounge and it is perfect for our needs.

This tv is good you just need to know how to use it , out the box the picture was just horrible to me but after adjustments it looks amazing!, google cast is different but cool if you think about it. Your phone basically does all the work you download what ever app you want to use on your tv then hit the cast button and what ever show or program is on your tv , i recommend you adjust the picture settings to your liking and watch youtube videos about google cast if you not too tech savy, overall a good tv ! I'm satisfied with it. As well please note tv picture settings can only be adjusted by using the vizio cast app and clicking the setting icon!

I bought this vizio4k tv and I enjoy the design and quality. However, I wasn't a fan of the vizio app used to control the tvs settings. Its not the best tv to configure your picture with but for gaming purposes, it looks beautiful. It makes xbox 360 games look slightly better.

It works fine, i like the app on my tablet to change chanels, input, volum, etc. but I eould also love to have a complete remote control and not just depend on the tablet all the time. The resolution is also not the best but I still like the tv for the price I paid for.

I returned a perfectly good Sharp Roku TV that got all the programs I wanted (NHL, NFL, HBO, etc.) because the Best Buy sales guy convinced me this Vizio set did it all but with a 4K picture. Well imagine my surprise when I start to discover that most of the apps I use like the NFL app, NHL.tv and others are now BLOCKING Chrome Cast! So this alleged smart TV pretty much can't show anything but YouTube videos via Chrome Cast! Furthermore a few times when turning this set on, the entire picture has a lavender purple hue, as if one or more of the colors failed to launch on the set. The picture is great but I'm really regretting this purchase and now debating taking this set back too. Moral of the story: if you are buying a Smart TV, make sure it gets the programming you want. Don't listen to the sales people. They are BS'ing you.

I've always been a fan of Vizio. This TV is a disappointment unlike other Vizio TVs that I own. First of all, the leg stands are so wide that I had to go purchase a new TV stand (yes, it's wall mountable but I didn't want to mount it). The stand that I ended up with was for a 52" TV and still this 48" barely fit. Secondly, it isn't a 'smart TV'. You can't watch Netflix without "casting" from a phone or tablet. Unlike my other Vizio where it's one button to start steaming Netflix, this model you have to "cast" from a separate device. >> turn on TV, go get your phone, laptop or tablet, start Netflix, select the 'cast' option, watch the show, then 'disconnect' after you're finished so that you can watch locally on the phone. The remote control is limited but yet again you can use your phone to control the TV. I like the thought of unified control but the TV experience shouldn't be tied to my phone, i.e. Others may want to watch Netflix and I don't want to give up my phone for them. Over thinking and poor design by Vizio. I took it back after 5 days and got a different brand and model that addressed the above issues.
