It really sounds great and I love the Blutooth feature so it can be used as a home stereo system.

Awesome sound. Never going back to tv speakers again only thing is the sound bar is taller than I expected. So it goes into the tv a little.

I went with my Uncle(65) who hadn't heard of the sound bar. He wanted to buy something to get better sound & I told him about the sound bars. In our search we came across this 5.1 Vizio sound bar, bought it & set it up on his TV. What he didn't realize is that it is blue tooth capable. Once we set it up on his TV he was so Happy & Excited with the sound, He said he didn't know how he had been living without it all this time. Once he found out he could also listen to his music from his smartphone & tablet on the Sound bar it was over then!!!! Done Deal!!!! Loving it Forever!!!! Once I left his house, I wanted one for my Living Room!!!! I went to Best Buy & purchased one for myself & Have Been Loving It!!!! Not One Complaint!!!!!!!!

I got this for my boyfriend and we love it! You don't even need speakers, the sound bar is that amazing! Well worth the money

Easy to set up, not much damage to wallet and great surround sound. I didn't want wires everywhere in living room so ditched the Bose system and went with Vizio soundbar. It isn't a Bose but at about 15% of the cost, I am happy with it. Bass module is great during movies.

This is the first sound bar I've owned. I held back from purchasing a sound bar earlier because most of them didn't offer the complete surround sound experience. The main factor that led to this purchase was the Bluetooth speakers and sub-woofer, both of which sound excellent. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product. For the money, this system sound great. All my friends and family members have been blown away by the sound. My only complaint is that the volume controls increase and decrease in such large increments that it is hard to get the sound just right. Also, the wiring options present in the system are limited. Meaning, I wish there was an audio output from the soundbar that could have been ran to a Bluetooth headset. However, both of these issues are minor compared to the overall value of this product.

I hesitated to get a multi-speaker system that required wires. This one works great as the 2 smaller speakers connect to the wireless subwoofer. Great sound. More than ample volume. Easy to connect and operate. Very glad I chose this one.

When I installed the sound system the quality was impressive. Even at low volume it is a great system. The install and wireless capability was wasy to connect and has been problem free. I also appreciate the system appearance. My only issue is the main speaker height as is covers about on inch of the screen bottom, as the speaker shares the same flat surface. IT is not distracting.

I'm using this sound bar with a 65" Samsung Tv that I bought in 2007. It's setup in a large room were the TV is away about 20 ft. I'm surprised of the sound quality.....it's clear, loud, and great bass. The only drawbacks are: 1) the volume needs to have a bigger range. When watching TV on level 1 and is changed to the next level, the volume increases a lot. 2) I have Directv and the sound bar doesn't turn on/off with the Directv remote. However, it does turn on when I hit the volume button of the Directv remote. So no need for a second remote. If you turn off the TV the sound bar will shut off after a few minutes if you have the saving mode turned on. Not a biggy, it's and OK alternative to shutting on/off instantly with the remote. 3) the Vizio remote LED screen is hard to read if the room doesn't have enough light. So if you are planning to use this remote at night, you will have trouble using it. But since I'm only using the Directv remote, this is not an issue to me anymore. I'm very happy with the purchase. Great value.

I feel like I'm in a movie theater with the wireless subwoofer and two extra speakers. I can connect my phone to the subwoofer and play my music and feel the bass like I'm at a concert. Great price and well worth it. FYI don't try to pair the soundbar it will pair when you turn the subwoofer on.

I had a Samsung curved screen sound bar that was more than twice the price and a lot more power But this Vizio way out preforms the Samsung, 1) it has true 5.1 surround sound, you can't get that without rear speakers, 2) it is way more adjustable as far as sound separation, 3) the Vizio base is a little less deep but the overall performance is incredible! A definate deal.

Great sound after adjusting all the functions. Remote control hard to read and "dot pattern" on unit is confusing.

I have always been skeptical of soundbars and wanted one that would at least have 5.1 audio. This is a great buy. It's incredibly easy to setup, and I don't have wires connecting the rear speakers to the sound bar (though they do have wires that connect to the subwoofer that is also wireless connected to the soundbar). My only gripe is that the remote it comes with doesn't have a backlit LCD screen which makes adjusting some things (mostly turning it into night mode or switching between inputs) a little cumbersome in the dark. Highly recommended!

My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because of an issue with the length of the cable to connect the satellite speakers to the wireless sub woofer. I e-mailed Vizio asking if they had longer cables than the 13' cables that come with the system. They said no, so I fixed the problem using cables and connectors I had lying around after years of buying and installing various sound systems over the years. One that was done, the system sounds awesome, and really fills up the room with full bodied sound. You can tweak every aspect of the system from the main center channel speaker to the sub woofer to the satellite speakers. I had recently purchased a 38" Vizio sound bar which I thought was good, but this total 5.1 42" Vizio package blows that other one away. Installation is easy, and the instructions are plain and clear. I did have to buy stands for the satellite speakers, but purchased them from Best Buy also so as to get everything shipped all at the same time.

This Product is the super awesome product that i was looking for. Great sound for the money i paid. Simply loving the use so far. Bass is Great, Bluetooth makes it better user experience. Surround sound is great.
