I went in to get a Toshiba 2.1 sound bar system, but when I realized this one was on sale and only a little bit more than the Toshiba, it was a no brainier to get real 5.1 audio without all the cables and bigger components.

This sound system works great. I have a 60" Visio TV that I connected it to and it pared up instantly. When I turn the TV on or off the sand bar turns does the same.

I love the system. It sounds great. We had a little difficulty getting it to hook into the TV but with multiple tries it worked. It doesn't always turn on with the TV either. Haven't had the time to see if there is something that needs to be adjusted with it or the TV. Happy with it anyway.

Great sounding 5.1 soundbar system! The bass is a little high even if its turned down but it can be tamed with a little EQ work. The remote works great and it comes with all of the cables for various connections.

I was looking for a reasonably priced soundbar with satellite speakers for the bedroom in my apartment. I watch television using Sennheiser headphones in my bedroom as a courtesy to my neighbors because we have paper thin walls. Still I wanted a more rich surround sound experience for the nature sounds I play from my IOS devices every night to sleep. Though it may be a bit overkill for listening to nature sounds I also opted for a satellite soundbar system. As it turns out the DVR provided by Time Warner Cable has an optical audio out which I connected to the Vizio soundbar for listen to the Music Choice channels TWC provides. I only cranked the volume up during initial setup but sound from both bluetooth and digital optical input were distortion free at all listening levels. That said I am very pleased that the sound is so clear at the very low listening levels I use it for at night. The soundbar sit on a dresser beneath my television. Aesthetics were a factor in my decision to purchase and though I knew it was require frequent vacuuming I preferred the fully wrapped fabric design of this Vizio model and the fact that that the display LED lighting is dimmed during listening (an array of LED'S illuminate to help with feature setup). The soundbar connects wirelessly to the subwoofer which I have hidden away next the the bed. The subwoofer is plugged in and on Standby mode all the time. The satellite speakers plug into the back of the subwoofer and the thin speaker cables all long enough for any room in my home. The Yamaha soundbar I have in my living room does have an IR passthrough which is handy in that setup but not needed in my bedroom since I have a Harmony Hub IR blaster for the bedroom components. Also, the Yamaha soundbar has a bluetooth standby feature which turns on the soundbar automatically whenever I begin to stream for a paired iPad but again a minor concern.

Bought this for my parents. Very easy to setup. Good directions. Came with every imaginable cable. So nice to get home and find out you don't need one more cable. Great sound. More features than my parents will ever use. It has been over a month since install, no problems and they still love it. I also got them a blue Ray player which was easy to configure with sound. I brought them out of the dark ages and into surround sound. They love it and I thought it was a great price.

plug and play its that easy and it sounds better at home then it sounded in the store even when your just watching videos

I did have an Apex sound bar which was an improvement over the TV speakers but decided to upgrade to the 5.1 Vizio. Another great improvement over the Apex bar. Very happy with my purchase from Best Buy.

Great sound for the money. It comes with 2 small speakers, bass, and sound bar. Great for a mini surround sound system

easy to install and use. We can pair our phones through Bluetooth. It works very well with my samsung 55 4k HD tv.

It provides great sound and at high levels. The satellite speakers are not as loud as I thought but still provide a good atmosphere sound.

LOVE this. I hooked this up to my tv upstairs that I mainly just watch OTA tv on. I do have a blu ray player with streaming hooked up to it, so I do watch some netflix and amazon prime. This thing makes everything sound amazing. While it's not quite as good as my main home theater system, it gets the job done. Right out of the box, the bass is very nice, and the sound effects sound great. Watched the newest hitman movie on it and was amazed how good it sounded. Keep an eye out for great prices, as best buy will price match other stores on it.

this item really has a great price-quality ratio. they sound like pro audio speakers.

I put this in my bedroom with my 42" Sanyo and it works great. Not really what my wife thought we needed, but that's ok. It's got decent sound and hooks up pretty easy.

This looks good and best of all sounds good! It's a whole new experience listening with the sound bar and satellite speakers. You hear things you've never heard before! And the woofer? Superb!

At middle to high volume, the Vizio 5.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Rear Satellite Speakers fills the living room with well balanced, acoustically clear sound. At lower volumes (and depending where you are seated), a single speaker can feel TOO loud and a bit out of balance with the others. Moving the offending speaker (or my) location in the room helps to offset the problem. Overall, I am happy with the robust sound quality and feel that I have received great value considering the low purchase price.

I was actually amazed after setting it up really easy to setup didn't think it would be as loud as it is it being kind of small compare to other soundbars that are way more expensive

Good quality for the price. Not for an audiophile, but is a great product to improve on poor quality flat-panel TV speakers.

wow I feel like we are in a theater. Playing game and watching movies sound great. My young son set up the system so it was easy.

My husband was looking for a sound system and found this one after returning a different one. We are very happy with the sound.
