    The concept is great, but still has some kinks. U could end up carrying 3 remotes, an ur phone around, depending on app ur watching, or listening to. Glad i got the extended warranty! When i change the channels to fast, the TV picture will go to Black an White, on every channel, until i turn it off, an then back on again! Visio blames Direct TV, an Direct TV blames Visio!!

      Thanks for your feedback. VIZIO SmartCast™ products are controlled using an application instead of a traditional remote. This means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. There are numerous settings that can be adjusted in the Picture menu. If the black and white picture only happens on a specific device, it could be setting in that device or connection.     I bought this tv as an everyday viewer for news and tv shows (both had antenna and chromecast). It looks great above my fireplace even when we aren't watching it, it looks more like a beautiful piece of art Bc of the photo screen saver. It's a great complement to the room. I love that this older model came with a tuner.
