You can not adjust the colors. You get a few settings to choose from. Picture is not sharp and clear. Remote is something to laugh at. On or off, volume up or down, channel up or down. Shadows in picture are either black, green, or red.

The TV itself is great, but the remote is horrible. The remote has extremely limited functionality. You can adjust the volume, change channels, mute, turn on closed caption, change the input, and a power button. I tried to buy a universal remote, but none of those I purchased would work with this TV. I contacted the manufacturer for support, they stated the supplied remote is the only thing available. They have an App you can download to a smart phone or tablet, it was a pain and didn't add any functions on top of the supplied remote.

The picture in the store is 10 times better than what I get at home I hate that all the controls are done through an app on my cell phone the picture does not fill the entire screen and when you try to adjust it it cuts off some of the captions either on the side bottom and top of the screen

Overall, I'm unhappy with this purchase. Delivery was a nightmare, and being required to use my smartphone with it is ridiculous. If I could exchange for a Samsung, I would. You definitely get what you pay for. Even my tech savvy kids struggle to operate this "smart" tv.

I actually went to the store to get an accessoriesl for my old tv, but the price on this tv was too good to pass up. The team was super helpful with paying and loading even though they were extremely busy. Tv works great and I haven't had any problems.

In my opinion this TV was not a smart TV. It required you to use your smart phone or another device to connect to Netflix. There is not a button on the remote to connect to Netflix. I returned this TV.

No issues and works great on my patio. Having to use the app for the tv is not an issue and is actually more convenient since it's on my patio wall. Not having to keep up with another remote outside is perfect

This is a good tv, and for people needing minimal customization it would be an ideal purchase. Unfortunately, some setup options are only available through the associated smartphone app rather than through the remote/onscreen setup.

Great tv but need Phone as remote. That said, also need internet connection to use phone. We bought it for a remote location in the high desert so no WiFi. A very big problem!!

The screen is very nice, but the setup and having to use an app on s tablet or phone I just found absurd. I still have trouble syncing the app with the set to make any adjustments.

Apps too hard to use

The smart TV and app are too difficult to use. I prefer the way Samsung integrates them into the TV. I don't want to be forced to use my phone. What if I don't have my phone with me. Would not buy this tv again.

Picture quality is fine, had some problems getting it synced with the soundbar, but it eventually worked. Chromecast functionality is completely broken, which is the whole point of the TV.

I was originally looking for a cheap 55" for the game room to play the Xbox on and for the extra $100 vs. the Best Buy brand, left with this TV in hand. Cant beat the 240hz refresh rate and the picture quality is far beyond the other TV's at this price. It actually surpasses my last years Samsung 240hz 55"! I will say I didn't buy this TV for the smart features so that doesn't bother me personally but if you are planning to use for a smart TV, beware there are some additional steps you may not like that come along with this TV, like needing a smart phone in hand to use the smart features. You will also need your smart phone to customize advanced features like picture quality and a slew of other nice features the app has to offer. Keep i mind this TV is around $500 for a 55" and actually smart capable with 240hz. Other TV's generally in this price range are not smart capable at all and 60hz refresh rate.
Just wish it was all available via the remote as I really don't like messing with all those features on my phone.
Once I got the picture quality settings dialed in I haven't touched the app as you can toggle picture modes from the remote as well as the standard stuff like volume, input and channel. If you do plan to use as a smart TV, you may become easily annoyed with the need to have your phone.
PROS:
-Picture quality is amazing at this price and very crisp for gaming.
-Although annoying, once the app is connected it has a ton of nice features to customize the picture, sound and even inputs.
CONS:
-Smart phone and app required to dial in custom picture quality settings as well as other advanced features. App can be buggy at times during the initial setup. Needed in order to actually use the smart apps and stream to TV.
Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone not too concerned with smart features but wants a good quality picture for a reasonable price.
