Worst tv I've ever had

Every couple of days i have to hard reset the tv to get the app to work. Now have to do it pretty much everyday to get Netflix to stop blinking. About once a month it loses connection and I have to completely set up the app again. This is the worst tv I've seen. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of frustration and buy a samsung!

No real remote.

There is not a full remote for this TV. If you want to change anything you have to download an app and use your phone. The app doesn't work. Who thought this would be a good idea? Not user friendly at all and incredibly inconvenient. Returning this thing tomorrow and buying a different brand.

What s garbage TV wish I bought Sony or other brand live and learn.

Not a smart tv

However requires the use of "smartcast" app to be able to use any "smart" features, which must be downloaded to smartphone or tablet. Those without a tablet or smartphone are SOL in regards to using anything other than the most basic features of the TV.

TV works for less than 2 years

We called and reported that the TV stopped working.... We tried the power cycle recommendation. Fail. Used different HDMI cables, failed. Spoke with Vizio Customer Service who said it is likely that "it will be more cost effective to replace the TV than to repair it." What that tells me is that this product has a lifespan of less than 2 years, Not confident that I will ever purchase or recommend a Vizio product now knowing this. All we received back from BestBuy and Vizio was "we understand your frustration." I don't look at a TV's as a disposable items after 20 months but for some reason Vizio & BestBuy does.

Sound and motion issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am having 2 issues with this TV. 1st one is that I cannot get the lips synced to the voice. I had Cox come out to the house, I reinstalled everything with the TV, changed HDMI ports and electrical outlets. Nothing helps. Very hard to watch like this. 2nd is that certain sporting events seem to be jumpy and choppy. Not sure if it's the TV or the signal from the broadcast. I don't know what else to do except to return it. I wish there was a way to check remotely from Vizio. Maybe it needs an update?

Posted .VIZIO HDTV's and Displays have a few features that can assist you with this. The Audio Delay is often referred to as a Lip Sync issue. Using the VIZIO SmartCast application on an Android or iOS device will allow you to go into the audio settings and adjust the Lip Sync setting to help account for these delays. For jumpy and/or choppy picture you can adjust the Reduce Judder settings if the display you have has the feature. This TV Sucks!!! Don't be fooled.

We took it back 30 minutes after configuration. You literally need a smart phone to work the tv which is unfair. I regularly have guest come over and shouldn't have to give my phone up for them to watch TV. There was an LG on sale for 499. We payed the 50 dollars more for a piece of mind. I wouldn't recommend this TV at all and Vizio don't comment trying to change my mind. It won't work.

Sound and clarity lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 3 weeks of use our display went into psychedelic mode. Everything is now red,blue and yellow. Turn it off and on and it does not go away. reboot WiFi and it does not go away. Sound is barely audible at setting 56. When we did have a picture, it was not crisp. Going back to our old Vizio and returning the new one. May go with Sony based upon reviews.

Poor TV worse service from Vizio

It is a common issue if you check out enough reviews and web sites. I have had many TV's last close to 10 years but never had one last so little time. IMO, not a good TV and even worse service from Vizio.

don't buy Vizio brand
