Upon reading some of the reviews before purchasing this TV I was a little skeptical. I went ahead and purchase the TV and I've been very happy with my purchase. The picture is great for my smaller family room and is similar to a 120hz TV. I'm still working on dialing in the picture, but haven't spent much time with that yet. I have a sound bar to use, so I haven't used the audio much. The sound bar I had prior to the purchase of this TV is also a Vizio product. I was surprised to find out that the cable that came with my soundbar is a plug that the TV does not also have so I had to purchase an optical plug after getting everything hooked up and mounted.

I like the t.v is was a great price.. Downfall no Bluetooth for sound bar and the first one we exchanged cause it made a piping noise and now the second one started too again, and don't know why

the tv has great sound & quality picture. however, less than a month after purchase it constantly disconnects from wifi and half of the picture dims occasionally. called Vizio to come out & repair, waiting to see what they say.

Didn't find any reviews on this model before purchasing, but I read reviews for comparable models by this manufacturer. Hope to help fellow shoppers out a little. However it's only been a week so still checking it out. . I've had multiple Samsung TVs but decided to give this a try because of the perceived value I was getting. In general it does the basic blocking and tackling for HDTVs. Ultra HD requires an Ultra HD input. Pros are the number of HDMI inputs and locations. Easy to mount. Thin. The biggest Con was if I get close to the TV I see the pixel blur. Don't see that with my 50' Samsung. Remote is basic and feels cheap. Had to play with picture settings to get it right. Room has lots of window to the left. Still shows with no glare. Had 1 scary moment where I had sound but no image for almost a minute. Would recommend because it's a decent entry UHDTV.

Bought this tv on special for $699. Picture on sports and newer films are good. Older movies and older tv shows are kind of grainy. Wish I had spent a little more and gotten a non black friday tv.

Pros - Picture quality Cons - TV is glitchy. Sometimes won't power off and needs to be unplugged for a bit to reset.

Good product but could have included 120 Hz refresh rate.

I went to the store and bought this tv. The one on the wall seemed much larger than the box, but I assumed this was just because of how it was hanging. Opened box and much to my surprise it was not as large as I had hoped. I think the one on display had to of been the 60' or 65'.

Salesman's explanation left me with greater expectations. Although 4k is new technology, it was explained that I would view enhanced colors even with 1080p. Waiting for 4k to be provided by networks. TIME WILL TELL.

One year old design. Picture is very good but not the best I've seen. Sound is lousy. Pluged in some good speakers I had hanging around and it is much better.

Good value for entry into 4K TV market. In movies with dark backgrounds there appears to be white spots in certain areas on the TV screen.

HDMI port stopped working with cable box so I had to switch them out. Cable provider doesn't broadcast in 4K.

Expected much better pic, not much or at all better than 1080p. In my opinion wasn't worth the extra money.

didn't care for the picture, returned the TV and got the LG65" and it has an awesome picture.

After only purchasing samsung, I bought this tv and it's a good tv.

Ok Picture too much jitter. Returned and went with a Samsung

Its a nice computer but it has a few quirks in tablet mode.

Same as others i was miss led into buying this tv from sells rep .i explained what i was looking for ,movies ,gaming ,etc., and advised that this was a better choice for a 4k tv..that's where my issue is in this tv has less back-light zones by half then the m series also get a lil more refresh rate with m series on 4k ,also the input lag for the d55u is no where to be found , For the cost of this tv i would just spend a lil more money on something that's been out for awhile with good reviews .oh yeah the remote feels cheap and has a sharp feel to the edges .so in the end returned and got the m series
