Amazing picture great gaming. The remote and os are not on point for a tv of this caliber. I also have the 65" vizio oled

Overall, this is a good TV. The interface isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be. It’s a brand new system in the Vizio line, so overtime it will be upgraded, but I am not seeing major issues with that portion. TV image quality is very good. It is extremely close to the LG CX in quality, which is LG’s premo OLED model for gaming. Vizio matches in color and brightness to the LG CX and many professional reviews are even claiming Vizio has slightly better color and brightness levels to LG CX. Here’s the major problem VIZIO NEEDS to fix: The TV power problems. Before the Xbox Series X was released the TV turned on every time you pressed the power button. Not once did I or any one else deal with power issues when turning on the TV. Once the Xbox Series X was plugged into the TV we all started having power issues. It doesn’t kill the TV. That’s not the problem. You have to unplug the cable to the wall or power surge and plug it back in. Every single time the TV will turn on that way. The TV was given the 00 power cable (the Female to Male port that goes inside the TV power slot) but it should have been the []0 power cord. For whatever reason VIZIO fumbled that one and hasn’t fessed up to their own problem. VIZIO OLED is a great unit. You just have to deal with certain things, like the power debacle, until Vizio and Microsoft figure it out. If Vizio doesn’t figure it out then they will have a major lawsuit on their hands and lots of repair services in the future on something moronically simple to fix. Last bit: When using the Xbox Series X the TV wont automatically stay with 2.1 HDMI. You have to constantly change the HDMI input to 2.1 to get the full HDR 10. If you don’t then the image goes dim. Power and Dimming issues is annoying stupid. I would still get this TV again knowing the TV isn’t broken, it just has some weird things to it you have to live with until its updated.

The picture is amazing! It's a noticeable upgrade from my previous Vizio LCD, and pretty much all content looks so much better with the higher contrast levels. I've been very pleased with the image and the quality of the construction, and for the price this seems like a really great option versus competing OLEDs. I would recommend calibrating the picture and motion settings, since I found a noticeable improvement after using recommendations from rtings as a baseline and adjusting from there. The only complaints I have are: (1) The screen is a bit more reflective than I'd like, and certainly more so than my LCD. This isn't a huge deal, because the image is quite bright and really rich, so you don't really notice reflections unless you're looking for them. (2) I've had continued issues with the eARC. The TV will sometimes turn off automatically and it can be hard to get everything to turn back on via the remove - I need to use the power button on the back of the TV. Other times there will be no audio from the attached Vizio soundbar I have, and I need to use the "input autodetect" feature of the soundbar to detect the audio source and start outputting sound. I've been trying to figure out if this is a setup issue on my part, but still haven't had any luck. It should be easier to resolve and more reliable than this. Other than that, it's a really great TV. Very happy with my purchase.

I've had this TV for about a month. So I've had time to figure it out. I must say that I do not have a PS5, because I am a human and not a bot, and haven't gotten a chance to buy one. There are updates coming and work arounds you can find online for ps5 settings. My previous TV's were Vizio M series before this OLED. For the sale price and the extended warranty discount, it was a must buy for me. The black levels are ridiculous, like all OLED. The viewing angles are fantastic. I watch it mostly in a dark room, but also watch it with all the lights on. I use a Sony 4k player, fire stick, and ps4 pro. No problems with any of them. The sound of the TV isn't great, but I don't know why you would spend this much money on a TV and not get a sounder or receiver. I have it connected to a Yamaha receiver with surround sound speakers, but you a good quality soundbar is with it if you don't want to spend that type of money. Settings, the Rtings settings are fine if you want to follow those HDR and SDR settings. The TV plays 4k perfect. HDR and Dolby Vision work great. The only problem that I consider a must, changing the Motion Settings. Go to Advanced Settings, Motion Control, and turn the Jutter Reduction and Motion Blur to at least 5, I used 5 and ended up turning both up to 10. Also Peak Luminance to High. Other than that rtings gives great picture settings

Excellent image for the price, love the build quality/cable management and pairs great with an Elevate soundbar. Unfortunately, this TV completely fails when it comes to firmware and buggy software implementation. Advertised as a 120hz VRR display, but be warned these features do not work. The bugs are endless, just look up this model on any website/forum and read the issues people have before you purchase. If you're willing to wait for an update that will (hopefully) come, and deal with its shortcomings in the meantime, then maybe you can justify its attractive price tag.

Honestly expected more for the price I was paying even on sale. This tv is riddled with bugs that software updates have not fixed yet. When the tv works it definitely shines during gaming and movies.

I've been wanting an OLED since they were first offered for sale, I just couldn't afford them. Thank you, Vizio, for providing one at a more affordable price! The picture quality is breathtaking, as only an OLED can deliver. I've had a few issues with the firmware, but its being updated fairly regularly. As another review mentioned, remember to remove the cable access doors on the back of the set BEFORE you attach any mounting brackets.

Repeated issues with the manufacturer's televisions. Will not purchase from again. Warranty is lacking and support for diagnosing issues is poor. This coupled with Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plan makes for lots of wasted money and hours. Will not purchase again.

HONEST REVIEW. So far I’m really enjoying this tv despite being hesitant at first reading some reviews and issues with VRR and 4K 120hz though I have not been able to test those out. I purchased at the Black Friday price of $900 (which was an amazing deal for an OLED that I couldn’t pass up). The picture looks really good upscaling 1080p content and also 4K hdr Dolby vision with Star Wars Mandolorian looked incredible. I have a Vizio sound bar hooked up to eARC and the Dolby Atmos works great for content that supports it as well. I can’t speak to 4K 120 hz content or VRR as I don’t have any devices that support it, so I will not touch on those although I have read it’s buggy with the current firmware edition (I’m sure they’ll address this). Some of the other bad reviews not related to those issues I’ve read frankly sound like defective units which are the case with any product unfortunately. The TV material and quality is very impressive for a Vizio and it has very thin bezels and looks great mounted to the wall. Vizio SmartCast works smooth and has all the apps I need though it might not be as customizable as others like a Roku TV. Overall I really like the TV and will update accordingly with more usage.

This TV has come a long way since its release. Mine has excellent uniformity and 120Hz on Xbox Series X is terrific. No screen-burn issues. The image looks good at all angles. If I could buy it again, I'd go with something with better software, image handling, and gaming performance. However, it was on sale at the time - $899.99 - and I consider this a learning experience for OLED.

Picture is great, but the software is a glitchy mess, the smartcast os isnt as good as samsung's. On samsing tv's you could switch between apps and they would stay open in the backgrownd. Not with the vizio. Also been having a glitch inwitch the tv wont even turn on unless I unplug it and power cycle it. My suggestion, only buy it on sale like it did for $899. And be sure to get the 5 year protection plan.

It's a good OLED TV for the money. I got my 55' at Black Friday 2020 when it was on sale for $900. At that price point you really can't go wrong. I also own an LG CX and C1 and those genuinely look a bit sharper than this TV. The software updates have drastically improved this TV and I have had no issues (as of the update in September 2021 or so) with 4K 120hz on my xbox series x. For gaming this is a good OLED now but I'd still choose an LG C1. If you're truly seeking a value option, this is definitely it. This is a good purchase at the right price and one I do recommend!

Every time I ask Vizio about the issue, they say they were unaware of the issue, despite forums having pages of people complaining about it. It's been over a month now. No image from Onkyo and Denon receivers. Amazing picture, but this is a huge issue. Software is also really buggy. Vizio needs to solve this issue.

Firstly I’d like to say the picture clarify is great and after the recent firmware update seems to work better. There a few issues still (that Vizio said they will fix). I had connected the chromecast with google tv to it, but it doesn’t output Dolby audio correctly there. I spoke to Vizio and they said they will fix it soon. I don’t have the PS5 yet but read there are issues with VRR there.

Great OLED panel at a more affordable price. The colors and infinite contrast are what makes an OLED screen so great. Only con I would say about this tv is that compared to say an LG OLED tv, the Vizio UI isn’t as intuitive or polished and only 2 of 4 of the HDMI ports are HDMI 2.1 if that matters to you. It is considerably cheaper than an LG, so that factors in.

I love this TV. My first Oled and im impressed. 4K Movies look AMMMMMMAZING on this bad boy. Glad with my purchase. Has minor Flaws like everything but lord willing will be fixed with a Firmware update. HDR blows me away and colors pop. LOVE OLED

The picture quality is amazing! Every thing you would expect from an Oled tv. I will say it had some bugs to work out when I initially got the set but with the release of the latest firmware it has improved. With all of the features such as hdmi 2.1, vrr and gaming in 4K @120 hz it’s also future proof. If you are in the market for an Oled don’t pass this up.

If you want a TV that has an amazing picture at a low price this is the one. Picture on it is phenomenal. Drawbacks on is the software. I’ve never seen a smart TV with such horrid software/smart hub that was irresponsive and just plain out doesn’t work. Even using the TV on standalone with a device was a difficult task on its own. Speakers are very underwhelming aswell so invest in a sound bar/surround sound system. Overall it’s a great OLED panel with terrible software. If software can be rectified it would be a bang for your buck.

Purchased for the bedroom, gaming mainly with movies and tv here and there. Had it for 3 or 4 weeks. Picture is great in movies and tv. Colours pop and image is crisp. Slight motion judder but manageable with the settings. Some settings are greyed out though. And it also doesn't save the settings sometimes so you have to keep checking they haven't changed. You can copy the settings and make your own so maybe that circumvents this issue. Experienced one instance where the tv wouldn't turn on, I had to unplug both it and my Xbox one s from the socket to get it on. The game HDR dims too much in game mode. It loses all that colour and vibrancy that you paid for. Turning HDR off and the games looked great, little too vibrant but much better than HDR. I had the screen flash 4 or 5 times while gaming during the 4 weeks as well. It would flash gamma colours like blue and yellow on red dead 2 and Forza 4, wasn't even a lot happening on screen. Also I was tinkering with picture settings for the tv to try and make the games look better. I gave up to watch a movie and couldn't. There was multicoloured white noise on the screen. I had to do a factory reset to fix it. Also the speakers started to get crackely. Ultimately I returned it and got the LG CX. The vizio has potential but I'm not willing to gamble that amount of money hoping vizio will fix all the issues I experienced. I hope they do.

The tv power cable does not match the diagram on the tv, but Vizio insists it's the right one. The reality is, it will work but you have to really jam it in there to stay snug or risk losing power connection while using the tv (Vizio is being cheap here for their flagship model). The picture quality is awesome, big step up when watching movies in 4k. Sound is what you'd expect, it's not bad but could be better out of the box without upgrading to a home theater audio system. Have not tried VRR for gaming yet, but Vizio says support is coming for next gen consoles in a future update, I hope they stay true to that. The biggest takeaway, the picture quality is the main thing, and almost as good as the LG OLED, but for almost half the price there's no way anyone at Bestbuy can convince me this isn't the best OLED buy out right now. The software (Smartcast) is decent, maybe not as great as Sony, but it has everything most people want (netflix, hulu, disney, etc).
