It was the week before the Super Bowl and I was supposed to get my TV on Thursday. Best Buy called me and said the TV didn't come into the store yet and it would be postponed. So, I received my tv the following Thursday, which is today. Ok, so I get over the fact that I got my TV a week late. When it arrived, I noticed the box was re-taped and had a previous shipping address on it. I started to look it over and the TV was USED/OPEN BOX!!! The TV frame had scratches on it, none of the plastic was on the screen, the screen had white residue all over it along with fingerprints everywhere. I then went into Best Buy and asked if I could at least get some money taken off for it being an open item and they would not do that. They offered to exchange the TV with a new one but I really don't feel like waiting another week or two with the possibility of the "new" one to show up in the same shape. I do not have a vehicle big enough to haul the tv in so the logistics of swapping tv's seems like a lot of work, considering their delivery times are during my work hours. It sure would be nice to just be compensated back for the USED item that I received.
