A Hollyday Vizio TV that it is UNIQE.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I saw this TV on sale few days ago, I just did not hesitate to buy it. Was looking for specs this TV has, size, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Gaming Settings... It is amazing. I upgraded my 4 years old 50" LG 4K, I think is quite time to notice the difference but I've been reading and testing more TVs in the market and for the price, this is blow mind. Good job Vizio, even if it's a version made for this Holiday its worth it. I've been using it with my Xbox One X and OMG, couldn't get Series X but this TV is making me wait. It boosts my Xbox very well. Also 4K movies with Dolby Vision are so clear. This TV looks like a $1,000 one. If you find it on sale again, go for it. So far, so good.

Good, but with issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, this tv has a very impressive picture. HDMI 2.1, HRD10, Dolby vision support and Dolby atmos support. Some nice bells and whistles. Now, my reasoning for giving it only 3 stars is because you only have this support on 1 HDMI port. So this means, if you plan on getting a ps5 AND a Xbox series X, you have a problem here. You’ll have to either pick and choose which console you want to support these bells and whistles, or you’ll have to switch HDMI ports depending on which console you want to play. A very annoying nuisance. Also the TV actually only has a 60HZ display, which kinda defeats the purpose of having HDMI 2.1. So for a gamer that plays multiple consoles, I’d say go with another tv. If you only plan on buying one next gen console, or you don’t game at all, then this tv is a very nice purchase.

Posted .Hello Doobs, thank you for taking time to leave us some feed back. On 2020 V & M series models, all ports are HDMI 2.1 and will support 4K at 60 hz. HDMI 1 houses the connections for eARC/ARC. With the eARC/ARC being on HDMI 1, that will be the only difference between HDMI 1 and the rest of the HDMI ports. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will work on all inputs equally. If you have any specific questions on HDMI 2.1 features or abilities for this model or would like assistance with making sure the TV settings are optimized, please go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’.

Like this Vizio TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been a month I have been using this TV. This is my first 4K TV and so cannot really give a comparison review with other 4K TVs. I bought it because of the price range and HDMI 2.1 as I wanted to have pass through Dolby Atmos for soundbar and eARC. When it comes to HDMI 2.1, there are not many choices at this price range at this time. I am not still 100% sure Vizio M706x has HDMI 2.1, but it has eARC. I have Dolby Atmos coming through for my Sonos ARC soundbar. The picture is decent and surely an upgrade from my previous 1080P TV I replaced with. I was very doubtful on Vizio Smartcast (Smart TV). I was anyway planning to use my Apple TV, but it's not 4K. So, kind of I was forced to use Vizio Smartcast for 4K and Dolby Atmos content. The Best Buy sales person was saying that Vizio Smartcast is not that great and could be a drawback for this TV. But I am pleasantly surprised by Vizio Smartcast app. It has all the apps except HBO Max (as of 1/9/21). I am sure it will come soon. I really like Vizio Smartcast now. I have Apple TV, Roku and so know all that, and I am very happy with Vizio Smartcast interface for streaming and maybe even better since it's built in. Also, it has completely simplified my setup with just one remote. Earlier I had an Apple TV remote, TV remote and my Onkyo receiver remote. Now through HDMI CEC connection, it will switch on the receiver when TV is switched on and all actions through one remote. Now I don't have to hunt for that thin Apple TV remote in my couch creases and I didn't like that remote at all. That touch Apple TV remote is sensitive and you always accidentally does something with it. I hope the TV companies like Vizio will keep investing in their Smart TV apps as it's the interface to the streaming world, and that is the future. So, please keep investing on your Smart TV platforms. I also went for a splurge and switched to Sonos Arc instead of Onkyo receiver and still all will power on with one Vizio remote. The Sonos Arc upgrade I am note sure there was a huge difference except that it didn't support Dolby Atmos from a sound quality perspective. Overall, I am very pleased with this Vizio TV as it has completely simplified my family room TV viewing to a great deal from my previous setup.

Overall a fantastic TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has been a very nice addition to our living room. It replaced a 55" LG that has been on our wall since 2012, and although there was nothing wrong with the LG TV (It has since been relocated to my recording studio), it was time for an upgrade. Some of the nice features that we have now is the ARC port which the older TV did not have and the sheer size. I had seen some people complain in other reviews that you cannot (or it is difficult to) add apps in the built in "Smart" function of the TV. When I got this TV I chose to ignore that since I primarily use AppleTV anyway. However, since installing the TV I chose to skip installing the AppleTV since it has built in AirPlay feature and the "channels" that we typically watch (Mostly Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and YouTube) are pre-installed. I was expecting to notice more of a difference with the 4K video compared to the previous TV, but this has been slight at best. The picture does look at fantastic after we ran through the calibration recommendations. If there was one thing that I could gripe about it would be the inconsistency of sound levels between apps. For example, Hulu is infinitely quieter than YouTube so we have to remember to turn the volume down prior to switching apps. The remote control does feel cheap, especially after using the Apple remote for so many years, but the quick launch buttons are a nice touch and it gives you easy "one touch" access to Closed Captioning as opposed to hunting through menus. Upon rare occasions you will need to tap a button a couple times to get it to respond properly, but overall the remote has been solid during the month that we have owned this TV.

Good TV, bad remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adding to the complaints of the remote. They really cheated out in the design and quality of it. Very unresponsive and registers incorrect inputs. I was expecting alot more, atleast in that aspect, from a brand like VIZIO. That being said, the TV is incredible for the price. Got the 70in. M series quantum series. Lots of integrated apps, free channels, able to cast to tv with apple or android products. Has an ethernet port or can connect to wifi. The setup wasnt too long, maybe 15 min to setup wifi scan for channels and get updates, could be shorter if the control wasnt so bad. The picture quality is really good, bezels arent too wide or noticeable. Relatively heavy TV, but it is 70". Stands are nice not to noticeable and spread out a good distance. All in all, it was a good buy.

Great TV, HDR needs tweaking
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is great for movies, but HDR for the PS5 is a bit strange. Will take some tweaking to avoid it being washed out.

Great TV for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I’ve been really happy with the TV. I upgraded from a 10 year old 47 inch 1080p Vizio, and the picture quality is much better than the old TV. Only minor negative is the SMARTCAST platform. Not being able to download other apps might be problematic for some. I have several Roku’s and FireTV Sticks in the house, so I use those instead of SMARTCAST. If you only want the basic apps, SMARTCAST might be ok for you. Overall, it’s a great TV, especially considering the price compared to comparable models.

Excellent 70inch 4k
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great. I got it on sale and it's finally allowed me to get 4k on my new xbox series x. Unfortunately it doesn't have the ability to do 4k at 120hz. But it does have a fantastic gaming engine that really does a great job at showing the definition at games in 4k and hdr10. Not quite as advanced as the 65inch. But it's 5 inches bigger so pick your poison. Only 4 stars because the automatic Hdmi setting for some reason doesn't want to stay on Hdmi 2.1. However if you manually set it it works great.

Great but for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice and Big! Need to tweet the picture to get the way you like it! When watching TV with a white background like a sky, You can faintly see the led light grid in the background. Blacks could be a little darker! None the less the TV looks good! The PS5 looks awesome on it too! Running in 4K is beautiful! Not a 120hz TV though. Worth $650. TV apps were a little clunky until I plugged The TV into a direct internet connection opposed to using wireless!

Great TV for the Xbox Series X
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV. Reliable 4K for a great price. The discount for the 70 inches was a steal over the 65 and I have no regrets. I'm using it for movies, streaming, and Xbox series X. There is some clouding on black screens as others have complained about. But if you take the time to play around with the settings for all paired devices, you can minimize this. Unless you are willing to spend a lot more, this is unavoidable. That being said, for this price... this is a great product. I have no regrets. I recommend setting it up with an additional person, if at all possible. The only thing missing is an HBO app on the home screen but you can smartcast hbo max to the tv without much issue. All of the remaining streaming apps are available.

Excellent value and price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two-plus months of doing research on all of the TVs that are on the market like Samsung, Sony, LG, UHD, OLED, etc. Which were on the high-end in price. TCL, Hisense, and then Vizio which were more like in the middle price range. It was getting confusing anyway, I'm glad that I decided on this Vizio which was the best quality and value in my opinion. The TCL and the Hisense were between $100.00-$200.00 more. Best Buy had a sale going on at the time and it was even $20.00 cheaper than the Vizio 65" so, it was a brainer. Even Consumer Magazine rated this TV as their top choice for the price range that Best Buy was offering at the time.

Very big, some bugs.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up on super sale, originally thought it was way too big, but it’s great. Picture is vivid and clean when using 4K and gaming. The setup was easy and Smartcast is nice option. Only gave 4 stars as it can be hard to cast from computer or phone sometimes. Also had to do a reboot the first couple of weeks as it was not responding. For the price it was a good purchase.

70" M series shines
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've seen so many different reviews on this tv so I thought I'd chime in. I upgraded from a 2 year old V series 70" Vizio to this M series around black Friday and so far there is a difference. This particular 70" tv does not have all the same specs and what not as the other smaller M series by Vizio but there is definitely a picture difference in 4k UHD content when comparing to my V series. My V series had limited picture settings (in fact I think it had only one setting) when watching 4k UHD and while it looked great for tv's of this price I know this 70" M series has multiple picture settings and you can really get the colors to pop compared to my V series. Would I have done it all over again and spent the money to upgrade from my V series? I'm not sure but I'm sure of two things. If you are picking between M series at the sale price or a V series at the sale price this M series is the way to go. Hard to beat the picture on either tv for the price but the M series is superior to the V series in the 70" model.

Great Quality TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would never in the past buy Vizio. However, I decided to take a chance. Let me tell you I am not dissatisfied!!! Vizio has stepped it up. It honestly looks 20 times better than the 75” Samsung I purchased. There’s no glare from the light (sun, lamps, recessed lighting) and the colors are rich and vibrant. For the price, you cannot go wrong. A highly recommend giving Vizio a thought for your next purchase.

Really Like It
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent value. There are other TVs out there that are incrementally better but, they are $1,000 more. If money IS an object, this is great value. I've had it for two weeks and I'm very happy with the purchase. Movies and Playstation look great. I also bought the Vizio V51 sound bar and they are perfectly integrated. For a total of $850 this is a very capable home theater set up. If you hate the operating system's limits, just buy a fire stick and you have everything you need.
