Have really enjoyed this TV. It was a good value for the size, and have not had many issues with it. Sometimes it does not fully turn off, or it gets hung up, so we have to unplug the TV and wait a few moments, but I think the recent software updates may have fixed the issue.

This 70" MQ series is really just a V-series with a Quantum dot display. It has a great picture and solid mid-level features for the price when on sale, but I'm already starting to doubt its reliability. Less than a month in, I am experiencing occasional freezes and the TV has to be completely unplugged to reboot all the way as simple power-cycling doesn't fix the issue. Also, I was much happier with the built-in Roku OS on my 75" TCL 4-series compared to the SmartCast OS, which is slow and prone to stuttering in comparison. All in all, this TV is a decent value at its price point, but the 65" model is a better unit in terms of features and processing power. However, if you want or need a 70" specifically, this is one of the few decent options left. Most brands are moving to 75" and up this year.

Quality TV at an affordable price point. We tried a different 70" and did not like the built in apps and format nearly as well as Vizio. We really like our first Vizio, so we decided to stick with what works for us. Nice quality and Google casting abilities.

Picture is good. Nothing amazing, but good. TV is huge! So that's a plus.
A big reason for the low rating is the TV is often unresponsive to the remote. It's either REALLY slow, or doesn't respond at all and freezes, requiring a restart (which also takes forever).
I plugged in my Roku, and am using that 100% of the time with this TV, cuz the Vizio programs are useless and the remote is useless.
Overall, it's a pretty good, pretty cheap, giant, basically not smart TV. Meh.

This is not by any means a top of the line or cutting edge TV. HOWEVER, for the price point it surpassed my expectations. Picked up on sale after Christmas. Colors and contrast are very nice (still no match for my 2015 plasma but the uptick in brightness and resolution make up for that.)
No noticeable lag during gaming. Plenty of features to get my 4K UHD movies looking spectacular. Handles HDR10 and Dolby Vision without any hiccups (especially when compared to my 2018 LG TV.)
Audio pass thru is clean and in sync, 3 HDMI ports isn’t enough but that’s the norm for a budget TV. The on board apps are pretty basic and perform just enough but I run stuff like that from my Xbox so it’s not a big deal.
Only gripe is that the TV came with protective tape placed directly on the screen and bezel. Not sure why it was directly applied to the screen, I winced pulling it all off after set up.

Good value TV. The Smartcast interface is going to drive you crazy, so you better buy a streaming device. Chromecast with google TV works great. HDR for PS games is nice and Dolby vision for Netflix (if you have premium) looks amazing. Well built overall

Excellent TV for movies and shows. Remote could have been better but picture quality is great. The colors really pop. Glad I got this instead of the Samsungs and Sonys that are way more expensive.

It is a nice TV with nice size and good image quality, after calibrating it colors are great! the main reason I am giving it 3 stars its because software wise it has so many glitches! sometimes Netflix app goes to a blank screen and goes back to main menu on TV, the controller sometimes starts having latency errors, and I had to do factory reset to have it back to work again, I have Alexa and at the beginning it used to work fast and play the desired show right away, now it only shows which app has the show and I have to use the remote to select it manually. Like I said, picture wise is a decent Tv for the price. but it needs work on the software, hopefully a future update will fix it.

This TV was easy to set up and very easy to use. At $650 (the price I bought it for on Black Friday) I would recommend this as a budget alternative for those looking for a new TV for current or next-gen consoles and a laid-back home theater experience. However, it is a little bit of a tougher sell at $800 (which is the price at the time of writing this review, and spec elitists will likely want to look elsewhere to more expensive models.
The Good: I mostly use it for gaming and it works fairly well for adjusting settings to your liking. Vizio is very user friendly compared to other brands that I have used in the past and connecting devices is seamless. I also paired the TV with a VIZIO 5.1 Soundbar System which works like a charm and makes for a great"home-theater" experience. At $650, the price point was a major attraction compared to other high-end models of the same size and capability that will run $1000+. As a recent graduate who isn't a "spec-master", this was a great investment.
The Bad: The preset image calibration settings are unimpressive and you're better off just creating customizable modes to suit your liking. Many of the presets make the image appear washed out and grainy, which is a shame because this can easily be improved upon by simply adjusting a couple of settings. Also, the fact that this model only has 3 HDMI ports when the cheaper and smaller "65-inch Quantum M Model has 4 is absolutely baffling.

The TV is super crisp and clear! The only downside is that the remote is super finicky. We actually had to contact Visio for a new remote, and that remote experiences lag or ghost input sometimes, too, even after troubleshooting.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and overall for the price it is an excellent TV, as well as my 1st VIZO. Straight out of the box the picture was ok, but after tuning the quality was very good.
The TV has a fair enough connections and also supports HDMI Arc with is excellent.
The Built in App is quick and responsive, however the Smartcast application is missing a couple of apps that I use quite often, Sling TV and HBO Max. Without the ability to add them or any other application is a major disappointment. The only way to use them would be to cast from my phone... which honestly is a hassle. Which is my sole reason for giving the TV 4 stars instead of 5. If I would of known prior to buying, I more than likely would have bought something else. So as a countermeasure I am running a Roku.

Man! I have been so pleased with my purchase.
I upgraded from a 55'' 1080p Samsung to this VIZIO.
The picture is phenomenal, the colors are bright as day the blacks are as dark as night.
Your favorite movie will get better on this TV.
I'm a big gamer as well as an action and comic movie nerd so I have put it through all the test.
Only problem is I didn't buy it sooner.

Great price for a big 4k TV picture looks great but this TV is meant for a darker room. It does not get real bright. My review was for only 2 weeks because the room it was in is very bright and traded back in

Tv has a great picture. For the price, fantastic value. Have had a few occasions where it froze, requiring it to be unplugged and reset. After that, works fine. Pair with a sound bar, as speakers are poor.

Phenomenal open box price for the size, picked up in time for 1st round of NFL playoffs. Solid picture quality out the box, haven't really had a chance to play with picture settings yet.
Vizio is a solid brand, making affordable, reliable quality tv's. Still have 13yr old units that still work perfectly. Would definitely buy this 70in again.

I am a gamer, the motion handling on this TV is NOT good. Words blur on the screen when you move from side to side, trees and homes will blur, horrible for a shooter. Driving games look just ok, not great.
It's a 60hz panel that claims 120hz clear motion whatever....it's not.
Video games are simply a no go on this TV set, don't even both trying to game with it.
There was minor banding on my set and also the corners were darker. I notice every little thing.
