Does Make a difference from my old 70” Vizio from Walmart

I bought this tv in July of 2018 for 1,199 when i returned an LG sk8000 65in. I was amazed at the price for the 75in vizio so i took a chance on what was supposed to be a downgrade. Very deep blacks, great 4k quality, and the local dimming is decent. Overall very pleased.

Beautiful picture, crisp sound. Just in time for football.

Great entertainment! Best HDR I’ve ever seen. Good quality and great value.

This tv has beautiful colors and is a joy to watch

I would love to give this TV a five star rating, unfortunately I cannot because of the lag-time I encounter every time I turn the TV on. When I turn the TV on it seems to need to warm up before the screen lights up. The SmartCast (Netflix, Amazon; etc) also takes a very long time to come up. I do like the thin build of this TV, and I like the picture quality as well. This TV is also relatively user friendly. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Great picture great price easy set up. It is a bit heavier than my previous 65 4K Sharp. But at 75” it’s a two person job anyway. Easily mounted. App for controls is easy and has lots of apps like Netflix. Stunning picture. Wireless internet hook up! No lags

First off I got it on sale, so the price was awesome. There’s a little lag time when you turn it on. But I’ll live with that if it’s my only complaint. The picture however is fantastic. I got an lg 4K DVD player to go with it and a 4K movie. I really see no difference in a Blu-ray and 4K. Maybe it’s upscaled. But I wouldn’t spend the extra money on a 4K movie. I can’t say enough how awesome the picture is especially for a 75” tv. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Despite being one model year old this monitor is still a solid value at 75 inches with local dimming zones. The user interface is clunky and sometimes slow. And it doesn’t process motion blur as good as some of the higher end models. But you’re also getting a lot of real estate for very little money. We’ve been satisfied with the picture for the price. But if you want something snappy with more polish then best to look at one of the S brands - just know you’ll pay close to double the price.

Bought this on Black Friday. This tv has a great picture, is easy to set up, and has good sound. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great value.

This is a high value display (performance vs cost), but its network interface and SmartCast apps may not serve everyone's needs. They didn't serve mine. First, the network connection using ethernet is very slow. Their built-in speed test consistently reports 11-15 Mbps when a laptop connected to the same cable reports 80 Mbps. I didn't test the wireless connection as I have no reception in my home theater. My primary app of interest was the Plex app which I run on several other TVs (Samsung and LG) to access 300+ movies on my server. Due to the poor network speed, this new TV wouldn't play more than a moment. As a test, I transcoded Avatar to 12 Mbps speed (from 30 Mbps) and found it *almost* fixes the problem, but the movie still stops at times. I have abandoned use of the SmartCast apps in favor of an Apple TV, and everything is fine now. Fortunately, the TV remote controls the Apple TV, so it's all still pretty seamless in terms of control and operation. I didn't test all the SmartCast apps or whether using WiFi in place of the ethernet connection would work, so folks using the more common apps like Netflix via WiFi may be satisfied. I'm pleased with the picture and think it's a high value item given its price and size. Those counting on the Plex SmartCast apps *will* be disappointed, however.

Bought the TV during cyber Monday 2017. TV is emense and offers great colors and was well worth the price.

It is an amazing smart tv with an incredible picture for a really affordable price

have been wanting a large tv for a long time. finally convinced wife to get one and settled on 75inch. was between the LG and Vizio model. what sold me on this is the whole screen is backlit where LG only backlights from the bottom so i get brighter colors. the blacks are great and not faded. picture is very crisp. only knocking off a star because the audio has an issue with soundbar where i didn't have issue with last tv but just pause video and its fine after that. probably an audio setting. if you can't afford an OLED then this is the next best thing.

1. Great value due to lack of built in TV tuner. Who watches over the air TV broadcast in America? 2. Yes, the Ultra HD picture is fantastic even at this size and price. 3. Perhaps best video streaming home page that stays updated, simple navigation, all Netflix remote control features are same as using the phone app. Amazon Prime interface is also a nice, intuitive layout. 4. WOW! New Vizio firmware update now adds FREE Pluto streaming video channels directly from TV input selection. So easy it's like using cable TV without cable subscription or cable box, or additional phone app to download. Prior to writing this review, I've owned this model for over 90 days with average usage of 10 hours a day. My previous TV set was a Sony Bravia which was only replaced to upgrade display size.

This TV has a great picture, but you do have to tweak a bit to get it the way you like. The firmware upgrade allows native Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and others without ChromeCast. A really good 4K TV without the big-guy price.

Great value! Such a crisp screen. Very easy to use. Don't be deterred by any bad reviews about usability. It's a very simple interface

I've been looking for a new TV for weeks. I've price checked all over. I challenge you to find a 75 inch 4k TV/Display at this price. Picture looks great , I use an avr set up with 5.1. so sound is a non issue. In this day and age I see no need for a TV tuner. Especially on a 75inch 4k TV. At this price I can find nothing to complain about. Considering I paid 1500$ for my 55 inch TV 3 years ago. This one's a steal.
