Great TV, but it is not at a smart TV

Bad: The packaging and ads show the logos for Netflix and other apps, but it can't run them. It only has Chromecast and that is how you can use the apps. You will need a computer or phone to watch Netflix. There is no 4K via the phone app that they suggrest. You will need something like a Roku to make this tv be what they advertized.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. To better serve users who prefer a more traditional app experience, SmartCast TV is now starting to roll out to our 2017 SmartCast models. SmartCast TV makes apps accessible directly from the display. This update will download automatically to your display if it’s connected to the internet and let you know with an onscreen message when it’s downloaded. Once the update has been downloaded simply press the ‘Input’ button on your VIZIO remote control, and choose the input labeled ‘SmartCast’.

This TV was primarily used by my organization to watch the World Cup in 4K on the Apple TV. Everyone was impressed and surprised it was a Vizio. Way better looking then our Samsung QLED that we had in the other room. Can’t beat the price.

Thanks!!

All my guest ask what size the tv is as it appears To be bigger with the small border around the screen. Love all the new features and apps that accomedate the tv as well. Great tv for the cost

Great picture quality for our media room, and I like that preloaded apps like Netflix, and others. Will probably buy another for the living room.

Really superior Ultra 4K HD TV with HDR

The built-in Chromecast allows many apps on the phone to be cast to the TV, and this has made streaming very easy. We love it!
