Picture quality, brightness and low energy consumption are great. All the built-in IoT hooey that adds to costs is something I can do without. I'd prefer if all TV mfg let us, consumers, pick the devices we want, rather than assuming we want a pile of junk pre-installed. The only beef I have with this TV is that sometimes it doesn't want to turn on. After I cycle power [unplug/replug] then it starts right up. Some-kind-of software bug, I imagine. The TV did an auto-update of its software after it was installed. It's a TV, people! Software update? Seriously?! When you get to know what's in the kool aid, IoT isn't appealing. But the newer models are worse, so, I'm happy to have this 'old tech' & yes, I'd recommend it based on picture & energy efficiency.

Overall, I've been happy with the TV. Having a QWERTY keyboard on the remote made surfing through apps easy. Picture quality is decent as long as you aren't within 6 feet to see the pixels. Its a bit heavy even with its size compared to other models of the same size. I liked having 4 HDMI inputs. Now the bad part - 3.5 years to the week after installing the TV, the screen began to flicker. Even with dropping brightness to the point where you hardy see half the image, its still noticeable and often after several minutes, the screen image just goes black. Really sad that I only got 3.5 years out of this device before I had to replace it. I should note the TV has been mounted on the wall since I received it, so no shacking or jarring about. I'm in the process of calling a Vizio technician but doubt they can fix it cheaply enough to justify.

The tv is great, love the picture, sound and color. Only thing I don't understand is why sometimes words are a little late compared to the mouth movement. I think it might be a setting adj. just haven't had time to really look into it. But the first one they delivered was broke and took and it took almost a month to get another one. The customer service at the Beaumont, Tx location is lousy.

Typically I only buy Samsung TV's however I finally decided to give vizio a chance. With a true 240hz refresh rate I was really excited to watch sports and play video games. This tv did not disappoint, fantastic picture, very nice presets for the color. Only downfall is the audio is not all that great. Then again if you are buying a tv of this price and size you probably already have a surround sound system.

I have a vizio e-series and it is fantastic for the money. I just purchased this m-series in 70" and for the price it has a great picture! The 7000 series Samsung has a slightly crisper picture but the nearly 30% cost increase isn't worth it unless your splitting hairs. This M-series is highly recommended.

This is a great TV for the price! I researched many 70" LCD Tv's and this one came out on top for 2 main reasons......price and refresh rate. I love how it looks and the picture quality is amazing.

Tv is very easy to use and has amazing picture quality. Sound is much better than expected for a Vizio. For the price it is a great buy!!

Obviously the screen size is huge. Maybe even a little too big for my living room haha. It's a whole new experience compared to watching on my old 52" Samsung lcd. I had read a lot of reviews and they made the picture sound incredible. I wasn't just totally impressed but I am still exploring the settings and different cable types to maximize the quality. It definitely seems like a quality product. Im very satisfied with the cost for what you're getting. The contrast ratio is intense. It can crank it up to be very bright. I keep almost everything on the medium settings for my room as far as how much light is in there. I definitely plan on this being my tv for the next five years or so. At least until 4k projectors get better and cheaper ;)

No TV in this price range comes close to the picture quality you get with this! Sports, Blu-ray, and video all look fantastic no complaints what so ever. Some will be impressed by the TVs pre set picture modes but others with a more keen eye will want to calibrate it themselves or look up Whay others have done great TV great value!!!

The best picture is really the calibrated setting. I tried to use the Blu-ray Basics DVD setup to calibrate the TV but found that the factory calibration was the most satisfactory. My last TV was the Samsung LED A 750 67 inches. Was great and the picture was warmer than this but the pixels went after eight years. I had spent $3500 eight years ago for that TV and I spent about $2000 with extended warranty and taxes on this TV. Ver satisfied.

It is a very good television. Very nice picture, and the wifi is a great feature. Very pleased with the purchase.

I have owned Visio TV's since 2007 and I have never had any type of isuue and every TV is still operating for someone in my family. This TV is amazing. The picture is so clear it takes some getting used to.

Wife wanted a larger TV and so we went with a 70 inch. I'm extremely pleased with the picture and the size is perfect for the room.

I purchased this as a gift for my father for his 65th birthday. He says he feels like he is in a movie theater.

Love it! The apps included are great, once dialed in with a HD tuning DVD it looks outstanding.
