Though it’s great as a sound bar enhancing the tv the sound isn’t good. Any type of bass causes severe garbling static sounds to be emitted. Very bad vibrations come from the bar even with low volumes and bass turned all the way down. Looking back I should’ve sprung for the next sound bar up priced at $250.

The sound bar's cute announcements of which source was active worked fine, and the lights indicating things like turning the TV sound up worked fine, too. Just no TV sound. And yes, all the connections and setup were good. So... Connected to an Insignia TV instead. Worked perfectly the first time! Was beginning to believe my Vizio TV was the problem. But just a half day later, the sound bar died and at the same time the Insignia TV suddenly turned itself off. The sound bar will no longer power up. Fortunately, my TV powered back up and is OK. Sound bar is going in the trash. It was brand new.

I don't need stereo sound when watching a game show or regular tv. I even turn off the port to eARC and it still turns itself on. I have to pull the plug when not using it. I have a fairly new version of the Vizio tv. Sound quality could be a better. I need to turn the volume up to at least 65 to get a decent sound. Thought this sound bar was affordable compared to others, but I guess you get what you pay for.
